Disappointing customer service over a minor incident My stay at Phu Sakon Hotel was overall acceptable — the room was fine, and everything was clean. However, the breakfast buffet was quite limited in variety and could definitely be improved. The real issue was a digestive problem I had during the night, which resulted in some minor staining on the sheets. Hotel staff claimed it couldn’t be cleaned and charged me 300 baht for laundry. I showed them that it was a superficial stain that could be easily removed with basic cleaning, but they still insisted on the charge. I find it unacceptable that, in a paid hotel stay, a guest is held responsible for a small, unintentional incident like this — especially when nothing was broken or stolen. It was a normal consequence of use, not negligence or damage.
