We stayed for one night as we drove through Salzburg. The rooms were very large and clean, and the staff were very nice. I would recommend booking a reservation at the restaurant, the food and drink are reasonably priced, and the food is excellent. We sat outside in the nice weather and the view is nice to have whilst eating. Free parking outside too

I stopped here after a hike. The service was very friendly and professional. The food was excellent; you could immediately tell that everything was freshly cooked and homemade. The prices are fair considering the location. I'd be happy to go back.

We celebrated our wedding there in October 2022 and it was a dream. Our wedding was actually supposed to take place in 2020, but it couldn't happen because of Corona, but the Daxlueg was so wonderfully uncomplicated. It was just perfect from start to finish. The food was a dream, the service wonderful and the location is wonderful for such an event anyway. The owners (Kurt and Andreas) are incredibly personable, helpful and cater to all requests. We slept there with some of the wedding guests and the rooms were great, big and comfortable. When you eat, you immediately notice that they work with love there. All in all, thanks to the great people at Daxlueg, we were able to experience the most beautiful day of our lives so far and are infinitely grateful for that.
