We had booked one night for 8 people. We were arriving in our own vessel (a catamaran) and they failed to tell us before arriving that if the tide was high the could not pick us from the catamaran. At the time we arrived, and we were close to their location they said that they could not pick up us and we should find a way to get there by car. The nearest port where we could dock our catamaran was one hour away of sailing in choppy and dangerous waters plus an hour by car to get to their place (if we found any transportation close to that dock and at night). While we were all waiting in the catamaran and the tide was getting worse I must have called them at least 10 times to figure out if they could help us find another boat from the area as we were not seeing any close by. They continued hanging up on me and saying "So sorry, its not our problem". As the afternoon was falling and the ties getting more dangerous we needed to find a place to moore for the night. The hotel then charges me the full amount and sends me an email saying that we were a no-show. The full amount was USD 1,300 for one night. I started calling them again to reason with them to reach an agreement because they failed to provide a service and they continued hanging up on me. Could never speak to a manager and was never able to get passed the person who attends probably at the desk. This hotel is advertised as luxury in the region, yet their customer service is absolutely awful. We lost USD 1,300 and had an awful and dangerous time in the water.

I was eagerly looking forward to staying with my family of over 20 people at this hotel, but unfortunately, the hotel has made it incredibly challenging for international travelers to pay via credit cards issued outside of Colombia. Despite my best efforts to work with the hotel and reaching out to PlacetoPay and PayU platforms directly, the hotel refused to follow the guidelines provided by those platforms. It's unacceptable that making a reservation of over 8,000 US dollars is so complicated. This level of poor business management and horrible customer service is enough to make me question the quality of their service once we arrive.

The hotel is beautiful, specially the amazing location and spotless facilities. The staff was always smiling and trying to please you in any matter. We stayed in a suit and it was almost perfect (the jacuzzy didn't heated very well). The restaurant is superb, the breakfast is delightful as well as the other plates on the menu. It has an incredible view from the pool, and many relaxing spots like the sand area near the bar, the beach and the kiosks by the sea. I rated it 4 stars because the check in wasn't that good. They are very strict regarding the 3 p.m check in time, the information regarding the hotel facilities and amenities was poor (we found out there was a gym the last day of our stay) and they don't give you any info about plans outside the hotel. Anyhow it's a fantastic experience and I definitely recommend it.

Excellent facilities, elegant, clean and very comfortable, it is a simply amazing experience. The delicious food, the very friendly service, very quiet and private, the access is easy and very safe, the beach is quiet and very clean

What's happening? I am in room 106. I have made two calls to the front desk stating that my TV service is down. Also, I sent a message with the maid. No one answers, no one has come to check. Not the slightest message. I asked for a portion of chicharrón, as it appears in the room service menu. It did not arrive as stated. It did not bring guacamole, costeño whey or hogao. What's happening? Are there too few hotels that charge this rate per night in Colombia, for these service-related nonconformities to happen? Nobody checks? There are no action protocols? Very unhappy.

Lugar muy bonito, pero la comida y la capacitación a los meseros es terrible. No tienen idea de los nombres de la carta que ellos mismos ofrecen. El desayuno que uno esperaría que fuera muy bueno por la región es recalentado, arepas de huevo recalentadas, tacos mexicanos sin gracia ni sabor, la actitud de los meseros es buena pero deberían capacitarlos, no tienen idea de nada.
