The manager and staff were kind but 'in absentia' during the morning when we and other guests had a few questions; no worries on that, but we cannot say the same about the neighborhood, makes us weep for the state of America with its roaming vagabonds and desolation, even near a supposed Mall and Embassy and church across from the Rodeway that, we noticed, is heavily fortified against intrusion in spite of its mission and history. Thank you.

TERRIBLE, REALLY NIGHTMARE, in Rodeway Inn San Bernardino !!! 📍Unfortunately WE CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS “HOTEL” 📍We slept in room number 201 📍It is much worse or equal compared to "Motel 6" 📍There is a LOUD and IRRITATING NOISE OF HYDRAULIC PRESSURE in the bathroom every 2 minutes and incessantly 📍We arrived at night around 10PM and the shower only had cold water THERE WAS NO HOT WATER FOR A SHOWER 📍There are no curtains on the bedroom window and it gets very bright in the morning 📍The mattress is too soft 📍The room floor was dirty 📍Bath towels were missing in the room when we arrived and we had to go to reception to ask for bath towels. 📍It is VERY NOISE ROOM

Until today, I don't think I have ever had to pay a 60 dollar cash deposit when I checked into a room that I paid over $120 for. They have put in new laminate flooring, but that's the only new thing there is. I think the toilet seat is 30 years old. The bathroom mirror has a crack all the way down it. The bed is one of the worst I've slept on in a long time as well as having cigarette burns on the bedding. When we asked about having a check out at noon the young lady at the office told us that was fine but at 11:30 they told me that if I didn't leave right then I was going to have to pay extra. I chose this hotel because it was closer to where I needed to be the next day but I would highly recommend looking for something else even if you have to drive further or pay more.
