Popular San Diego 4-star Hotels

Very old hotel with dated rooms. The rooms are not good. I had to shift three times, and the front office staff handled the passport carelessly. Won't stay in this property again as I was not impressed with the room quality. Housekeeping is only available every three days—no staff to help to shift the luggage from room to room when I was moved. I booked a bay view room with a balcony, but they provided the first room, which has smelly rooms and no working aircon. Moved to another room without a bay view and, after a night, moved to another room on the eighth floor with a semi-bay view and balcony. Honestly was not impressed with the experience. No free water in the room. Wifi was not the fast.

Not bad, the balcony view is very good~ The sink in the room was dripping, but the staff came to repair it, and the service attitude was good~ The breakfast in the hotel was also good, and the children were very happy~

There is only one restaurant in the hotel, which serves an American à la carte breakfast. The hotel location is good, in the middle of the gas lamp area, there are many restaurants around, suitable for food. 3 minutes walk to the tram stop. Hotel facilities are not new, but in the United States hotels are pretty good, the old five-star standard in China. The service was great.

The shower water in the bathroom has a strong flow, and it is very comfortable to take a shower. The hotel staff cleaned the room for two consecutive days. The regret is that the wallpaper in the bathroom is warped. The barrier-free bathroom has a curtain, but the shower water still splashes easily. The lobby will give you freshly baked big cookies, which taste very good and satisfying. If you like to eat, you can ask for them. There is a menu for the main course of breakfast, and you have to order from the hotel waiter. It’s just that my family didn’t know about the first breakfast. I went to the restaurant alone and only ate the fruits and staple food on the dining table and gave the meal ticket to the waiter. I didn’t eat the main course. Unfortunately, it can’t be compensated. It’s a pity that the room rate is high for one night.

Bathrooms need to be updated. Shower was old and looked dirty and there were areas that seemed to have mold. The pools were good for kids. They offered s’mores only for one hour which was not convenient for our schedule so we didn’t experience. Curtains weren’t blackout which is difficult when you have small children and lots of light comes in.

This is my second time staying here. I booked a regular room last time, but this time I booked a house next to the bay. It is really great, with pleasant scenery. I took my children to feed the seagulls as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning. The service staff in the entire park are very friendly and will chat with you with a smile. There are five swimming pools in the park. We went to the largest one. The children swam while the adults sat next to them to bask in the sun and order food. It was very comfortable. I will bring an electric scooter next time. It must be fun to visit the park! If there are any shortcomings, the facilities are relatively old and the air conditioner is very noisy. There is nothing else.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the promenade and the old town. Comfortable bath and room. Good swimming pool. At the entrance they gave a voucher for kayaking or biking for an hour. Also vouchers for two bottles of water. The situation that happened to us, the room was with the smell of dampness, that it was impossible to breathe, after a complaint it was quickly changed to us.

I visited there cuz of the Disneyland and the location was so good and room condition was so nice

Even though I gave them a score of 4, if the is an overall rating I would give a 3. They messed up my reservation. I booked a king bed with bay view but instead they put me in a room with 2 double beds and the view was the back of a tennis/pickle ball court. Room was on first level of Lanai tower near end of the hallway close to stairs so high foot traffic so noise come from everywhere, footsteps from second level, hallway, and from outside balcony.☹️ Not worth the room price per night

We truly enjoyed our stay. We can’t wait to go back! The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The beach couldn’t be any closer and the privacy here was just amazing.
