I came from a late meeting in Escazú and required a place to stay downtown. I chose Casa Colón becaus of its historical architecture and design. At the time of Check-In, I attempted to perform a wire transfer via SINPE and the bank system was undergoing maintenance. Christopher, the attendant, was noble enough to allow me use the internet connection on the site and call a friend to pick me up. Even though I did not stay, the customer service experience was awesome. Please that Christopher Miranda for his welcoming smile and detailed care to clients. It seemed like a very nice period hotel, but when we arrived we found an outdated hotel, with a lack of maintenance and cleaning. The room was very large with a private bathroom, but for the deluxe service it left a lot to be desired. The bathroom was dirty, the window was broken and when facing the street you could hear all the noise. Well located in the city center.

La réceptionniste ne parle pas anglais, les draps et serviettes sont sales et il n’y a aucune insonorisation par rapport à la rue qui est très passantes (l’hôtel est dans un angle, ce qui double le trafic). Cerise sur le gâteau, le quartier qui est fréquenté par des toxicos qui font les poubelles. Franchement, réservez ailleurs!
