Saturn's Return

This place is pure magic! Immersed in nature, quiet, still a short distance to all the activities and places of interest. Rooms are comfortable and the service is warm and friendly. Breakfast is amazing, with local products and home-cooked vegetable frittata and cakes! Thank you Emma! If you want to experience the Island, don't miss this place!

Such a lovely property, regenerative farming, chickens, sheep and blackberries!! There was a delicious breakfast self served with other guests. The rooms are small but have excellent beds/bedding which were very cozy. I highly recommend!

I stayed at Saturn's Return overnight on the eve of my 50th birthday. It was a surprise gift from my husband and kids. I arrived by rideshare and as we drove in the farm my stress started melting away. What a grounding place to recharge and reset after the August Full Moon. This place is truly special and is run with heart and soul. Don't think about it and just book it.

We had a friend's wedding on San Juan island so a bunch of us rented rooms at Saturn's Return for the weekend. Everything about the stay was perfect! The grounds were beautiful and we really enjoyed the walking path and picking delicious blackberries. The breakfasts each morning were spectacular. I really cannot recommend this place enough, Emma and Wiley were such kind and thoughtful hosts.

We had a great stay at Saturn's Return. Emma and Wiley are welcoming and attentive hosts. We stayed in one of the Queen bedrooms. The bed was comfortable, with nice linens; the room was quiet and restful. We enjoyed reading in the tastefully decorated living room and the sunroom. Breakfast was a delicious savory galette, good local sourdough bread with local butter and jam, and extremely fresh soft-boiled eggs from their hens. Saturn's Return is in a beautiful rural part of San Juan Island, with an interesting trail along fields and into the woods, plus a resident herd of sheep. We'd definitely come here again on our next trip to the island.

This place is magic! We had the best weekend ever visiting the Saturn’s Return inn. Everything is the highest quality and best materials, from the towels and linens to the breakfast and even the filtered drinking water. We often hung out on the sun patio chatting, and even took our morning coffee over to the sheep pasture to spend time there. The farm store is stocked with amazing local foods and wine. We bought a mini bottle of the plum wine the first night, and went back the second day to stock up on salts, jams, and flower before we left. My only recommendation is to bring a cooler so you can bring home more of their fresh goodies and meat! You’ll be a new person after spending some time here. Its beauty and serenity is unmatched. All around, I couldn’t recommend more. I’ll probably never stay anywhere else when we come to San Juan. We just left and we are already planning another trip back.
