Ulum Moab

Outstanding place to stay. We loved our tent accommodation, with the wood burning fire and heated mattress pad. It did get cold enough at night to need the extra heat, but it was still lovely. Star gazing was incredible. Setting is stunningly beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful always, and the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and healthy. We were there 3 nights, so one of our full days we did a great hike in Arches Nat'l Park, and the other full day we did a great hike at Canyonlands Nat'l Park.

Loved this whole experience - the tent, the dining, the common spaces...all were so well-appointed. Only thing I would change may be coming back with a not-harvest moon so that the stars were more visible. BUT the huge moon was also gorgeous! Can't wait for more Ulum resorts but will absolutely look at Under Canvas locations as well!

ULUM Moab was incredible. The setting and accommodations -- from the lobby, restaurant, pool, outdoor seating areas and individual tents -- were spectacular and unique. They have managed to perfectly combine nature and outdoors with luxury, comfort and relaxation. But the staff is the icing on the cake! Jimi and her team are fantastic. They are friendly, authentic, accommodating, attentive but not over-the-top. It truly seems like they love their jobs and their company. I will highly recommend ULUM to my friends and family. Great experience!

The tent is so comfy! The property is amazing. The staff is top notch and upon leaving they felt like family. I highly recommend Ulum. I was with girlfriends and we had the trip of a lifetime. Morning yoga, Onsight hiking, and proximity to Arches is unmatched.

As I sit here outside the tent I am overwhelmed by the setting. Star lit night, one of the arches in full few, clear crisp air, and still sated by the fantastic meal ($180 for 2) served last night. Why am I sitting outside at 5:30 in the morning? Because my tent is full of smoke from a poorly designed draft system for the tent's wood burning stove. (Also lacking, a light in the bathroom). I did enjoy the sounds of children frolicking, screaming, and laughing into the late evening.; reminding me of family camps in my younger years. The bed, staff and food are all excellent. For $200-$300 a night I would rate Ulum a 5 star; but, for $900 a night I expect more. There is no way this resort (clamp) can be rated better than Amangiri as Utah's #1 resort. As long as you're expecting an overpriced family clamping experience (and not a resort) this is your place.
