Hotels with Parking in San Luis Potosi

For multiple business trips to San Luis Potosi over the past 2 years I have stayed at Fiesta Americana. My experience every time has been outstanding. From the first interactions with the Staff at the front desk, to breakfast/dinner servings, to room service and final check-out, the attention to detail and service was top level. With the post-COVID full re-opening of both the businesses within the adjacent Mall and beautiful Park the value proposition for the Fiesta Americana is unparalleled. I would highly recommend to others staying in San Luis Potosi.

My husband and I always stay here when visiting S.L.P. I've never been disappointed! The staff are amazing, the beds are perfect for me (big beds and hard so that you don't sink in). The showers are perfect - hot and great pressure and the rooms are big with a beautiful view of the city. They also have parking and friendly staff. The location can't be beat- Love this place!

The hotel is very good and very good, in the entrance near the industrial park. Quick reception. The rooms are very large. Very clean everything. Breakfast buffet with a modern restaurant and very good attention. S I recommend if you don't need to be near the center.

We booked their two bedroom suite with a kitchenette at least kitchen at four months in advance, thinking that there may be two couples traveling together, as it turns out there were only my wife and I but we decided we would keep the two bedroom suite so we could have plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views as we were there over the Mexican Independence Day celebration and being in the heart of Centro we would have lots of views of the festivities. Also, with the exchange rate, being what it was, the two bedroom suite was affordable! When we checked into the hotel, staff was a little suspicious that we had a two bedroom suite booked, and only two guests arriving , I don’t know they may have thought we were going to have a party there. They tried to talk us into their one bedroom suite, we looked at both suites and decided to keep the larger suite, they weren’t going to even adjust the room rate for the smaller suite at all, when I asked why we would take a smaller suite for the same price they offered us breakfast daily which we declined because we wanted to visit the local restaurants for breakfasts. The room with a kitchenette had zero utensils, plates or glassware stocked in the kitchen we thought maybe we needed to call for housekeeping to stock the kitchen but there was no such thing as kitchen amenities available. We had to call down to the hotel restaurant to have glassware and silverware delivered. There weren’t even small glasses in the bathrooms for toothbrushes! The amenities and the room were very sparse. the closets had no hangers. and the bedding was sparse and not exactly new. one of the showers clearly had a problem with the drain and sewer gas. It was too smelly to even use that shower. There were things in the hotel room that needed to be repaired, painted or replaced. The whole room seemed a little tired, even though it probably was renovated not that long ago. It was equipped with a smart Room system that was operated by an app that you download to your phone, it didn’t work at all!Getting the lights on and off, adjusting the air conditioning was quite a challenge every night The website boasts a description of their onsite restaurant with menus so we planned on dining there the night we arrived which was later on a Sunday night but we discovered that the restaurant was only a few tables in the lobby with very limited options- absolutely nothing like the website described, so we went out for dinner, the first two places the hotel staff recommended were closed but we found another restaurant near that was very nice!!

The location is about 15 minutes from the City Center. (79-80 pesos with an Uber) The pool was closed both nights that we were there as they were cleaning and maintaining it. The views from the roof were quite nice. The breakfast buffet was ok. Nothing great, but not bad either. The bedroom linens were smooth as silk and very clean. The rooms could have been stocked a little better as there was just 1 bar of soap and 1 hair conditioner. No tissues, shampoo or body lotion. I don’t use those anyway, but simply noted their absence. The heat and a/c worked well and the staff was absolutely terrific everyday! They really were like concierges! Howard S.

The most unsatisfactory place is that there is basically no sound isolation and the environment is very beautiful.There are 2 relatively large outdoor pools, ¡which is really rare in places where water is scarce! Mi pareja y yo teníamos una reservación para seis noches, sin embargo, tuvimos que movernos tras dos noches, ya que justo enfrente del hotel se encontraban dos bares cuya música no paró hasta las 6 am aproximadamente. Supimos por unos huéspedes que la compañía contaba con otro hotel a dos cuadras, llamado ”Palacio la embajada”, al cual decimos trasladarnos. Este hotel, además de antiguo, tiene habitaciones sin ventilación y con un calor insoportable, de la misma forma, la terraza está vacía y no se corresponde a lo mostrado en las páginas web. Debido a todo esto, optamos por retirarnos definitivamente después de una sola noche. En cuanto al trato del personal de Santosi, este fue amable, servicial y atento, aunque debemos mencionar que se nos había asegurado que la habitación daría al interior del hotel y esto no fue cumplido.

Wonderful property. They have excellent staff, very attentive and helpful. The room was clean and even with the room being a little smaller than what I'm used to, the room set up was perfect. Love the security of the parking lot. Will definitely stay again when in town.

The hotel is beautiful and the location is great. The reason for the 3 stars is that there needs to be repairs or improvements. My room door didn't always work and the the plumbing in the bathroom produced such low water pressures I was concerned about showering. There were only two available outlets in the room, and with today's electronics requirements that is simply not enough. On a positive, the breakfast served here as absolutely delicious. Make these improvements (not modernize the looks, just the accommodations) and this hotel could be a real gem in SLP.
