Visited LA for the Auto Show at the Convention Center. This hotel was perfect as it was just across the street from the Center. The view from our room was great, the room was a bit compact but good enough. Comfy beds, strong shower head, and great breakfast buffet on the 34th floor. They had Happy Hour at the Bar Moxy on the main level, decent burger and chicken wings. The service could've been a bit more friendlier and attentive instead of us asking when we needed something. Nonetheless I would definitely consider staying here again for another event at the Center.

The room I live in is on the twelfth floor. There is an outdoor swimming pool downstairs. It is very noisy at night, and there is very loud music. It will not end until twelve o'clock, which makes people sleep badly.

Bed was comfy, there’s not a lot of table space for bags and toiletries but the hooks on the wall made up for it! We were pleased when we could use the microwave adjacent at AC hotel and the fitness room was neat. Staff was friendly and helpful and helped assist with a late check out at 1pm instead of 11am. Oh just one thing - the doors could be a little loud when they slam. Our neighbours thought someone was trying to go into the room when our door shut, and vice versa.

Down with Moxy Downtown LA .
This is a weird hotel. I booked a large room with two double beds. I was shocked to find the hotel room does not have a closet, and clothes have to be hung on hooks. The tiniy-tiny shower has no hooks to hang towels or undergarments. The wash basin is in the entryway along with the coffee maker.
Worst of all, the air conditioning works with a motion sensor. At night, when there is no movement, the AC shuts down. You will be cooked in a sealed room with no windows. When I complained, the staff said it's the law in California to fit a motion sensor to the AC. When I complained on the first night of my 3-night stay, I was offered $80. I vacated this animal shelter and booked a room at the JW Marriott at almost the same price.

Location is great but room is too small. Housekeeping is not a daily routine, need to inform them on housekeeping. Staff was unfriendly. No slipper provided.

Great view of the city of angels. The bathroom was nice, I liked that the sink was separate so my partner and I could use it simultaneously. The only inconvenience was the valet parking - there was always a wait to get our vehicle.
