Mediterranee Family Hotel & Spa

Wir hatten einen wundervollen 3-tägigen Aufenthalt im Hotel Mediterranee Bibione mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Hotel ist sehr schön, mit großem Außen- und Innenpool, Kinderbecken und Jacuzzi. Besonders begeistert hat uns der Spa-Bereich – ruhig, sauber und mit liebevoller Betreuung. Das Hamam mit Massage war einfach himmlisch! Das Frühstück war sehr gut und der Service von Mister Valerio und seinem Team war außergewöhnlich gut– täglich kleine Überraschungen wie Putensalami und handgeschriebene Notizen machten das Frühstück zu einem echten Highlight. So einen VIP-Service erlebt man selten! Perfekt für Familien und Paare – wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank an Mister Valerio und die liebe Masseurin im Spa!

Unfortunately, for a 4-star hotel, very little is offered. Not good: - Pool toilets are cleaned far too rarely during the day - No lifeguard - Breakfast is not a 4-star breakfast - no fresh pancakes, no fresh croissants, dry ready-made cakes - everything is simply taken out of the packet and put on the table. I know that the Italians don't care about a "German" breakfast, but it's a hotel that's exclusively for Germans, Austrians and Swiss people - There are no toothbrush glasses in the room, just plastic cups wrapped in plastic - Never any fruit or other small items in the room - Ice cream at the pool bar - again small plastic bowls instead of paper cups or waffles - Playground: really old, wood splinters, completely exposed to the sun, no sunshade, sandpit is covered with a tarpaulin: therefore not playable - Direct beach location is totally exaggerated: you have to walk quite a long way from your room to be in the sea with your feet / about 650m - Complicated towel exchange: you have to ask at reception if you can get new pool towels, then you're told to just put them on the floor in the room and they'll be exchanged the next day. The rooms aren't cleaned until midday though! So I don't have any towels at the pool in the morning?!? We then ran after the chambermaids in the morning and changed them ourselves. Why is there no towel bar at the pool or at reception?!? It's a 4 star hotel! - Garbage baskets at the pool: constantly overflowing with garbage. Once a day someone cleans when the garbage is already piling up in front of the basket - WiFi hardly works at all at the pool. - You can't turn off the light on the balcony, so unfortunately you can't sit outside in the evening without being bitten by mosquitoes - There were 2 small water bottles in the room on the first day - that was it! From a 4 star hotel I expect at least one water bottle per person every day. (There were four of us) Good: - Rooms have been newly renovated and tastefully/modernly furnished - Loungers by the pool and on the beach are as good as new and comfortable - There are enough loungers on the beach and pool - WiFi in the room is good. - Air conditioning works great The not-good list clearly outweighs the bad. We won't go there again. What a shame.

We stayed in a family room with breakfast for a week. €300 per night is extremely excessive for what we got. The sofa bed has a fabric like the floor - linoleum. I've never experienced this before, that makes the couch rustle and is very uncomfortable. The older lady at reception, who spoke good German, could only squeeze out the bare minimum of friendliness. The employees at breakfast had expressions on their faces as if they had been stung by a wasp, and there were a lot of them. The way they handled cutlery was extremely strange. You're not allowed to take any yourself, it's brought to the table. It often took so long that the food was already cold and guests were looking at other tables to see if there was anything clean. The cutlery drawer is at the entrance and you can see how tidy it is. I was surprised why there was a glass cleaner there. One day I was given a DIRTY spoon, I complained about it immediately and then found out what happened - the spoon was cleaned with glass cleaner and brought back to me. For this reason alone I would not book the hotel again even at a third of the price

Located in Bibione Pineda, so much quieter than in the middle of Bibione! Still enough shopping opportunities! Located in a dead end street, so very quiet! Only a few meters from the beach! We were in the new building! Very large room (325) and finally a bathroom that was big enough (just a little too little storage space) Large balcony (maybe a small table is missing here), enough storage space in the room! All the staff were very helpful and friendly! I can't understand the negative reviews that I've already read! If you approach people in a friendly way, you'll get friendliness in return! We had all inclusive! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all very good and there was something for everyone! There were always 3 stations with show cooking set up! Absolutely great! Of course, during peak times, not everything was always completely full, but the staff always tried to get supplies quickly! And when they were, if not on vacation, you sometimes had to wait 5 minutes! The pool area is a bit old, but I think that's the next thing on the agenda to renovate (it doesn't match the hotel's new color scheme). The slide is only for very small children! Unfortunately, there are also a lot of people who reserve loungers by the pool in the morning and then aren't there all day! But that's not the hotel's fault, it's just a bad habit among holidaymakers! The space for the mini club is a bit small! There were 3 entertainers there, the young man was very enthusiastic, but the 2 girls were unfortunately wandering around listlessly and sometimes ignoring the children!

Let me start by saying that I have never stayed at the Mediterranee hotel, but I have been coming on holiday to Bibione Pineda for thirty years and, since it was built, I have always appreciated very much how it integrated perfectly into the context of the surrounding pine forest a stone's throw from the sea . For these reasons my review will not concern the services offered by the structure, but rather the new "face" that the hotel in question has taken on this year. In particular, I feel the responsibility of writing this review for all those families who are looking for a family hotel in Bibione Pineda and come across the photographs of the exterior of the Mediterranee hotel present today on TripAdvisor, but which unfortunately, alas, do not correspond to the the current image of the hotel. This year, in fact, the Mediterranee has undergone a major renovation, which has radically changed its characteristics: 1) it has been significantly expanded, with the addition of a significant portion of the building in the central area and in front of the entrance; 2) it was raised by one or two floors depending on the area; 3) it has been equipped with a new parking area (which currently consists of a dirt road) which has led to the erosion of a vast green area near the beach and immediately behind the characteristic church of Bibione Pineda, making it definitively lose its contemplative function (now the only thing that can be seen is the gigantic hotel behind it); 4) it was completely painted GRAY. All these elements have completely changed its face, aesthetically transforming it from a welcoming and beautiful (perhaps the most beautiful in Bibione Pineda?!?) family hotel, well integrated into nature and the surrounding context, into a looming, cold and aseptic business(?) hotel, which has nothing to do with Bibione Pineda and which, as unfortunately often happens, has disfigured nature and the surrounding context a stone's throw from the sea. If until last year I would not have hesitated to bring my children to the Mediterranee hotel because from an aesthetic and architectural point of view it perfectly reflected my idea of ​​a family hotel, from this year, just observing it from the outside, I would be careful not to bring them there for don't let them have an experience...in reinforced concrete. Yes, because in the end it is very painful to say it, but this is the visual sensation you get. Now no one will give us back the lost portion of nature and the looming dimensions of the hotel will certainly not be reduced. We at least hope that with this review the hotel owners review the painting of the building, opting for a color more in line with the surrounding marine context. Demonstrative photos follow.
