The space itself is full of historic meaning! It takes you back a century or two while enjoying all the modern commodities. This region is famous for its whine, Rioja. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff that welcomes you with open arms. And the restaurant, In Vino Veritas has some local delights mixed with some new cousine!! Just fantastic!! A must try definitely!!!!

We stayed one night, the place is very quiet and perfect to unwind, but I think it has one star left over. The facilities are very obsolete, the room they gave us was very spacious and the bathroom too, but plugs, curtain in the bathtub, etc... they make us lose a lot. The correct breakfast, it is not a buffet, it consists of cold cuts, breads, rolls and fruit, enough and the coffee is very good. We also had dinner that consisted of 2 appetizers, in this case both vegetables, correct, a fish or a meat, in our case we had a sea bass, inedible that also smelled bad, and we did not eat, hence, I had a lot of doubt in my opinion. rating because in reality this spoiled everything, a four star cannot serve that fish, then a dessert that was delicious. The people at the reception act as waiters in the cafeteria and restaurant so you have to wait. We are a group of 9 people from Singapore, Mexico, Belgium and Spain. We made the reservation at the Monasterio 7 months in advance, but the manager Amaya canceled 3 rooms just a few days before.
