This was a real oasis in the desert. Lovely staff and quiet accommodation which is just a couple of minutes to walk into the bustling Main Street of town. A special thanks to Sevla and it was also great to meet and chat with Amelia. Lovely food in the restaurant.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and efficient. They always tried to help with whatever question / query we had. The hotel was situated very close to the centre of town, but wasn’t noisy. The room was a lovely little separate shack and was clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this place when visiting San Pedro de Atacama.

this hotel is very comfortably located in the center of the city, walking distance from all the restaurants, shopping district and the town Square. The rooms are just the right size with independent terraces that are just lovely to sit around. Everything is impeccably clean , the service is very friendly, and the overall experience is quite comfortable. Breakfast is amazing and included. If you have to leave before breakfast time, the hotel prepares a snack for you, which is very generous and delicious. at an extra charge, you can eat at the hotel restaurant which has a delicious selection of variety food. The hotel has a parking lot. The only downside is the fact that because it is located right in the center of the city, it can be quite noisy at night, so keep this in mind if you’re traveling with small children. At least for me and my family. It was not an issue at all as we were so tired at night that the noise didn’t really affect our sleep. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be staying there again if I return to San Pedro de Atacama.

Great staff, very helpful, and the rooms are good but a bit noisy in the evening. That’s ok if you can sleep in, but no one is there for sleep. Interesting breakfast of cereal, cake, bread and scrambled egg, but it sets you up for the day. Hot water not always on demand

We only stayed one night at the hotel due to lack of availability at the hotel where we were staying. Terrible experience!!! We were tired from the week of sightseeing and wanted to take a good shower and sleep comfortably before our flight that would leave very early. We didn't like anything about the hotel, starting with the hotel reception which is across the street at the Kimal Hotel and they don't even have filtered water in Poblado and you have to get it from the other side. The bungalow-style rooms are cute, but the bed and pillows are horrible and the worst part is the noise. We were surprised by the earplugs on the table next to the bed, but we found out why they were there, we went to bed early and woke up to live music from an absurdly loud band that seemed to be inside our room and lasted until midnight. We called the hotel reception and they said quite naturally that it was from the La Casona restaurant and that it would end at midnight. This hotel is not worth it, expensive, uncomfortable and very noisy!!

The hotel rooms are cabins that are next to each other. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel is very good and they give you a takeaway breakfast when the excursions are very early in the morning (which is usual in Atacama). When you arrive you get a welcome drink in the hotel restaurant. It is well located, next to the main street and close to everything. The wifi works pretty well and the hot water worked perfectly. Everything is very clean and well heated. The bad thing: there are some rooms that are extremely noisy at night. The first night we couldn't sleep because it was Saturday and there was a concert in the bar next door. The next day we complained and the concierge very kindly changed our room to a quieter one. In short, the hotel is very good and the staff too, we liked it. We don't give it 5 stars because of the loud noise (which we were told is quite common in hotels in the center of San Pedro).

For those who want to enjoy the city of San Pedro, while still being comfortable, it is worth staying here. Staying in San Pedro is expensive, if you compare the same type of hotel in other places. Taking this into account, the Hotel Kimal (and its annex across the street, called Poblado Kimal) meet expectations. Neither a resort far from the city and overpriced, nor a more "rustic" hostel: excellent location, friendly service and charming cabins. For those who have very early excursions, just ask for a "box" and they will have it ready for you to take. We didn't use the pools because it was cold, but they are very nice, an atmosphere with that San Pedro feel.

Very well located hotel, a few meters from Caracoles Street. You have to cross Domingo Atienza Street to go to reception. Good sized room, a bit dark, good shower, built-in heater in the wall. At night it is difficult to sleep because the music from nearby establishments is very loud. Average breakfast. All the staff are very friendly. We used the jacuzzi, which costs $20,000 separately.
