Single solo traveler from Lebanon. I fell in love with Belize, and this was the second trip.so This time, I decided to travel to the island and choose the watermark hotel. I did my research, and I had some good reviews, and I saw bad ones. But the real deal is that until you try yourself. Fairly new place. I also noticed some works that needed to be done on rooftop restaurants. But I have to say that doesn't stop that million dollar view. That peaceful time I had in this resort. Absolutely amazing food that has complete local flavor. I was tired of burgers and pizza life. I enjoyed great fish curry ,I enjoyed local rice and beans and enjoyed service by Bhajji. I will do say, though, I don't remember the waitress's name, who walks funny and has a very bad temperament. But that will not make me give this place 5 stars. I enjoyed the welcome given by sessy during check in. Even though I didn't get enough respect with other front desk name starts with P when i went to ask for pool towel. But I will still end my review with a very budget friendly hotel and nice food.Thanks for making stress lesser as I had enough.

I’m so glad I stayed here. The food and drinks were great, the facilities were modern, the location was accessible to all the must-go places, and the staff was amazing. I stayed in San Pedro for 5 days on a solo trip. My room was comfortable with a spacious balcony, large shower, fridge, TV, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed was extremely comfortable, too. This would have been a nice hotel room back home in Los Angeles. The sun rising over the ocean was breathtaking, I would wake up most mornings to catch it, then go back to sleep. The hotel had a bar and restaurant on the first floor, a boutique next to the lobby, a rooftop pool, and a bar and restaurant on the rooftop. I would have liked more seasoning on some of the dishes, but the food was not disappointing. The menu had a great mix of authentic local dishes and touristy options. I tried the shrimp curry, stewed chicken, and the Belizean breakfast. The drinks were always good, and they could make anything you'd like. Kaylinn made a solid old-fashioned for me one night. I recommend you drink the local rum-based drinks. They are much, much cheaper than imported spirits (this is true everywhere, not just in the hotel) and just as good. Also, the welcome cocktail was great, I should have got that again now that I think about it. My favorite part of the hotel was the rooftop bar and pool. The pool is fairly large and very clean, with lounge chairs all around. There are also tables for food orders and a bar as well. The view is always excellent, and the rooftop is usually where the guests go before and after their daily excursions. I met people from all over the US, and we shared our favorite restaurants on the island and made plans while casually hanging out there. The friendly island vibes are contagious, so most of the tourists are very friendly, like the locals. My first interaction with the hotel was when the driver picked me up from the water ferry terminal. He was punctual, professional, and very friendly. He set the standard for the rest of the staff at The Watermark, and it was consistent my entire 5-day stay. Every single person from the bar to housekeeping to the front desk had a great attitude and was professional and friendly. Ali, Kaylinn, Heraldo, Daniel, and Jami were great, they provided service with a smile every time I crossed their paths and they knew all the best restaurants and bars on the island. I felt at home the whole stay and can't wait to return.

It was a beautiful hotel; the rooms were small but very nice. The hotel staff was helpful and always willing to take a minute to help when needed. The location was a little north of town (still within walking distance if you walk on the beach). It is located next to my favorite dive outfit, so that made it convenient for diving. It's also closer than most resorts to the secret beach if you plan on relaxing and partying in the afternoon. I would recommend staying if you have a chance.

I had the most wonderful time at Watermark Resort in San Pedro! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with such warmth by Prescilla at the front desk, making me feel right at home. The resort’s food was absolutely fantastic, especially the grilled fish presented in a plantain leaf – it was so flavorful! And their energizing drinks are a perfect refreshment after a day in the sun. The rooftop views are absolutely stunning, offering a breathtaking perspective of the area. The service was unparalleled, and a special shout-out to Kaylin, the cute and friendly bartender, and Geraldo for making our experience even better. I don’t recall the name of the gentleman from India at the front desk, but his service was just as excellent. Overall, my leisure trip was made unforgettable by the incredible service, delicious food, and the stunning setting of this new gem in San Pedro. I highly recommend Watermark Resort for anyone looking to relax and enjoy some top-notch hospitality!

This was the friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced at a hotel! Every single person was welcoming and respectful and went out of their way with a smile. So impressed with how warm everyone was. The rooftop pool area is lovely and the rooms were clean and bright. Don’t miss the Farmhouse next door for great breakfast!
