Our 3rd time and not the last. Extraordinary location, beautiful place, superb service and delicious food!!. Thank you G&L and staff for making our stay special! We had a great time and We will be back. Highly recommend this gem. Very unusual.

Perfect honeymoon trip! Also if you wish to relax and just do Nothing it’s the perfect place . Great service, food, privacy , beach, weather, everything in one place. The staff is attentive but not intrusive, the rooms are comfortable , clean and eco friendly. No mosquitoes!

Bahia de la Luna is at the end of a road that makes you wonder a few things - 1. Will we make it?? The answer - absolutely yes. 2. Is it worth it? The answer - absolutely yes. Listen this place is tucked back away from the crowds with a Robinson Crusoe beach that has a great bar and restaurant right there. To top it off the kindest staff we have e encounter ton the entire Oaxaca coast!

We were staying with friends in La Boquilla and went to the Hotel to enjoy the restaurant, bar and beach every day. We had several lunches, snacks by the beach and dinner most nights (we were there 6 days). The food was excellent - good variety and tasty, and the staff were extremely accommodating (happy to change up menus to aid with food allergies etc). Very very friendly people who were constantly tidying up, sweeping, taking really good care of the property. I had a wonderful relaxing massage there as well. The beach is just wonderful - it’s a little slice of secluded paradise. Not many waves so the swimming is relaxing and safe. The water is crystal clear and the beach feels very private. We had a look at some of the rooms which looked rustic/chic - fairly basic but comfortable and in keeping with the environment. The drive in and out is hairy - with gnarly roads which were tricky to navigate (but my husband is an excellent driver)! But that means that it’s not overrun with other travelers and can maintain a more authentic, private vibe.

We have an extraordinary experience with our pets and contact with nature, the gorgeous view of the sea, and the bungalow equipped enough with terrace, kitchenette, fridge and palm shelter with hammock to enjoy the sunshine. The beds are very comfortable and has mosquito net.

what can I say to a world of follies where the alternative shines finer 85 degrees and a Pacific Ocean breeze beach and sand ready for Crusoe water aerobics pilates on the beach thank you lord for no such thing the chill is sensory and experiential full throttle book and beverage in hand airport personnel are hazy where did you stay at an open whaling boat debarks tatted pirates Washington State couples swim and lounge for a bit motorcycle club troops the beach because breakfast is that good dinner table full moon and sand underfoot choice of soups salads entre fish or beef mezcal coffee poured across fresh-baked corn flan ice cream made daily who would have thunk a sea turtle comes up to lay her eggs no shoes no shirt no service never heard of it
