The Locanda is set in the ground of a castle in a village near to Piacenza. The grounds also house a range of modern sculptures. This was our second visit. There is a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Katia is an excellent host. Rooms are clean and spacious, with en-suite facilities. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but on request a kettle and cups were willingly provided. Breakfast is very good. There are no restaurants in walking distance, but the nearest are only 3km away. There is a bar at the end of the road, who provided us with a lovely plate of antipasti and a nice bottle of wine for a very reasonable price on our visit. We will certainly visit again if we are in the area.

Adorable property with beautiful grounds. Rooms are on the more basic side but are thoroughly comfortable with nice bathrooms. The person who checked us in was fantastic and accommodating. The fellow who prepared the plentiful breakfast was cheerful and made us feel welcome. We would stay again if in the area.

Con mio marito e mia sorella abbiamo pernottato nella notte tra il 25 e il 26 dicembre scorso, presso la struttura “ Locanda del Re Guerriero”. Situata all'interno di un corpo di fabbrica al centro del parco si erige imponente il castello del 1600 in ottimo stato di conservazione. Il nome importante colpisce, la miscellanea magica che unisce la storia italiana dal Rinascimento al presente, con pezzi di design, opere interessanti d'arte moderna e altro. Sicuramente ben scelti e posizionati. All'accoglienza una gentile e sorridente Katia ci ha assegnato la bella camera numero 5. Tutto in ordine pulizia perfetta, ambiente ben arredato, caldo e circondato dal silenzio assoluto, ben apprezzato da chi proviene da fuori Milano. Il mattino il risveglio è stato allietato da una buona colazione servita da Katia e Stefano. Cortesia, disponibilità ad accontentare le desiderate degli ospiti sono un valore aggiunto che rende l'esperienza seppur breve indimenticabile. Это самое ужасное место где мы когда либо бронировали номер ! Мы приехали в 20-05 и нас не пустили на территорию отеля , хотя мы забронировали люкс ! Ворота закрыты , как в тюрьме и ни души ….только комары . По телефону, который указан у ворот нам ответила очень хамски девушка, что мы приехали поздно и что никто нам не откроет . Хотя у нас было написано . Прилагаю фото , что check in с 20-00 , а не до 20-00 . Место полное комаров и хамство персонала просто поразило . Такое впервые на моей памяти в Италии . Крайне не рекомендую этот отель , это не отель - а зона отчуждения!!!!

Location suggestiva, situata proprio di fronte al Castello di San Pietro in Cerro, si presenta agli ospiti che vi soggiornano come un mix azzeccatissimo di richiami medievali e arte contemporanea. Il personale è gentilissimo e la struttura è curata in ogni particolare. Colazione, sia dolce sia salata, servita al tavolo.

Esperienza stupenda. La locanda è bellissima, curata nei minimi dettagli. Anche il castello merita assolutamente una visita. Un particolare ringraziamento a Katia che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. E, non per ultimo, attenzione e disponibilità anche per gli amici a 4 zampe.

Succede che sei ad un’ora da casa ma sembra di essere in un’altra dimensione. Un paese piccolissimo in cui trovi un castello e una locanda. La locanda è gestita da Katia ed Alessandra che sono di una gentilezza incredibile. Succede che ti accolgono direttamente al parcheggio dell’auto, che ti spieghino tutto quello che si può vedere e ti consiglino anche ottimi ristoranti. La stanza grande, su due livelli è curata e pulita, così come curatissime sono le parti comuni, arredate con opere d’arte e oggetti di design moderno. Il parco intorno è notevole, curato e adatto ai bambini. La domenica si può fare la visita al castello adiacente la locanda. A colazione non troverete il solito buffet ma verrete coccolati man mano e alla fine farete una colazione ottima. Che dire… solo che non si capisce perché non sia un quattro stelle, ma va bene così.

Perfetto sotto tutto i punti di vista ! Un particolare ringraziamento alla Signora Katia che ci ha accolti con grande ospitalità e professionalità . Camera molto accogliente e di gran gusto artistico così come tutto il resto della Locanda e del Castello che merita sicuramente una visita . In ogni ambiente traspare la grande passione del proprietario per l’arte in tutte le sue forme . Un soggiorno affascinante ed emozionante alla scoperta del “bello” in varie epoche della storia .
