Our stay was absolutely amazing! The amenities, the service, the price, the food, the views, entertainment, everything will make you feel like royalty! You are met in the lobby with a warm smile & greeting from Alexander Bell boy and checked -in by Margoth. In the lounge you are personally greeted by Ronald day serve and Miguel Angel(night serve) who were very personable. Breakfast was deliciously prepared by Gaudy the cook. Even the housekeeper makes the toilet tissue decorative. Ezequiel, the concierge, was very helpful and all of the staff seemed to never forget a face or name. I must say.. I really enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton.

We have been coming to this hotel once a quarter for a couple of years now and have been consistently impressed by the level of service. From front desk experience with Austin, who always knows our name and exudes positivity, to the attentive and warm service we get from Marlyn as we enjoy breakfast, this hotel has become an experience my wife insists upon EVERY time we visit San Jose! Clean, efficient, quiet, and centrally located for Escazu. It's a great base of operations for San Jose!

It should be the best hotel in downtown San Jose, with comfortable beds and pillows. Guest service is also ok. The breakfast is too bad, it is not worth the price. It is recommended that if one lives, or stays next to Sheraton, half of the price, but the room is large, breakfast is very rich.

I really loved my stay at Posada el Quijote. It was my final night in Costa Rica before catching my flight back home and it was a brilliant place to relax and rest before the long journey. Fernando was really helpful and friendly, as was the other gentleman on reception in the evening. The pool has a brilliant view of San José, and being that bit higher up, there was a lovely breeze so it was a nice temperature for sunbathing. It was a 12 minute walk to a Fresh Market when I wanted to pop out for lunch and get supplies. The breakfast included had a range of options including gluten-free pancakes! There's a lovely dog called Perla on-site as well as seven cats. It felt like a nice homely place to stay. The pool could do with a little bit of TLC, as it needed a bit of fixing and cleaning in places, but it did the job for me as a final place to stay in Costa Rica.
