Excellent location, very good breakfast, clean room with own patio 😍 and super friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you travel to Big Sur or if you want to visit Hearst Castle (5 min by car from Hearst Castle visitor center).

The hotel is just across the road from the sea, close to Hearst Castle and Elephant Seal Beach, and very convenient for sightseeing. The owner was very welcoming and took us to the room in person, fearing that we couldn't find the room because of our poor English. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. There is a steak and seafood restaurant next to the front desk, delicious!
