Excellent location, very good breakfast, clean room with own patio 😍 and super friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you travel to Big Sur or if you want to visit Hearst Castle (5 min by car from Hearst Castle visitor center).

This hotel was much better than any of the others we have stayed at in San Simeon. The staff were superb and the addition of the heated pool, spa and fire pit made this a very good hotel even though the building itself is old. The breakfast was also in line with other his hotels we have started at. A really great stay. Thank you

Small shops around the scenic area. The facilities are average. There is an American breakfast. One night stay is fine. There are no big hotels around. Just a few minutes north is Hess Castle and Elephant Seal Beach. If you are traveling to these two places, or taking California Highway 1 to San Francisco the next day, it is recommended.

It is still as clean and tidy as always, and the service is as warm and in place as usual! The breakfast is rich, with coffee, yogurt, six or seven kinds of bread, and you can make your own waffles. As for jam, butter and fruit, it is fully equipped. It feels very worthwhile! This is the second time I choose this hotel chain!
