Hotel Oasis Port Barton

We had such a great stay here. The breakfast was excellent, particularly enjoyed their garlic rice and fish danggit. Pancakes were also tasty, loved the cinnamon syrup! Also the best calamansi juice we had. The staff are so lovely and helpful. They helped us book island hopping very late when we arrived, helped us book a transfer car with our late arrival in Puerto Princesa, helped us hire a moped and also a tuk tuk several times. The hotel's moped is in great condition as are the helmets, and the tuktuk driver is excellent and drives skilfully and safely. Thanks to the concierge who gave us honest advice about whether we could drive ourselves or get a tuktuk to the various beaches we chose to visit throughout our stay. The hotel environment is also great, and so close to the beach which is lovely, but also situated slightly back so it's peaceful. Totally recommended!
Tentstar Eco Resort
4/53 Reviews
First and foremost, I would like to express how much I appreciated the serene environment and the thoughtful design of the space. The scenery was breathtaking, and it was wonderful to feel so connected to nature. The eco-friendly amenities and décor truly made for a unique and refreshing experience. However, I did encounter one challenge during my stay. Unfortunately, there was no hot shower available, which made it somewhat difficult to freshen up after a day of outdoor activities. While I understand that being eco-friendly often involves conservation measures, a warm shower would have greatly enhanced my experience. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and am grateful for the opportunity to connect with nature in such a lovely setting. I hope you consider adding hot shower facilities in the future, as it would make a significant difference for guests. Thank you for your commitment to sustainability, and I look forward to visiting again! Warm regards,
Foxy's Beach Resort
4.2/52 Reviews
A lonely and beautiful little resort. I found Foxy's through Google Maps. Before leaving El Nido and returning to PPS to transfer to Manila, I wanted to find a quiet little resort where I could see the sunset over the sea. So I found the small town of Sanvicent on the map, and this quiet and independent little resort in a corner facing the sea to the west. From the photos and tourists' comments, it is said that there is a beautiful sunset here. And the transportation is quite convenient. In fact, I made the right choice! It is indeed clean, comfortable, well-equipped, quiet and beautiful. The reason why I don't rate the facilities high is entirely because the wifi is not working. Although the information given to us at check-in is that the service is provided by Starlink, it can't be connected at all. I hope this will be improved in the future. Outside the resort is a deserted little beach. On the first night, we saw a beautiful sunset. On the beach where only our family was, we picked up many beautiful shells. At night, the stars filled the entire sky. The resort is not big, but there is a great swimming pool and the taste of the buffet breakfast is also very good. The owner is a very enthusiastic old British man, and there is also an elderly but very clingy big golden retriever. At the nearby Sanvicent pier, island hopping and camping trips to several outlying islands are available. The coral reefs here are still vibrant, with turtles and plenty of fish. It's much better than Elnido. Due to the impact of typhoons in the past few years, the corals in the shallow sea areas of several outlying islands in Elnido have died, and the underwater is dark and silent. So we regretted not staying at Foxy's for a few more days. This is our seventh trip to the Philippines and our third trip to Palawan. We are very lucky to have discovered Foxy's. Next time we come to Palawan, we will definitely return to Foxy's.

No ac. No hot water. Just a fan. 1 minute walk from the beach. Very nice service. They let us use their home kitchen.
