Resort Calampiso

I have known Calampiso since 2005, but I have not been to this facility for at least ten years.... What can I say, the beauty of the place is beyond discussion, as is its splendid sea, it is no coincidence that we are located within the Zingaro nature reserve, but everything else leaves much to be desired and it is a real shame.... The accommodations have remained the same as twenty years ago, and no internal renovation has ever been taken into consideration, everything is a bit cramped and dated, I found a reasonable level of cleanliness, but I was with the hotel formula perhaps.... And I must also say that both days of my stay were spent tidying up the room and changing the towels. The breakfast buffet is varied but not of quality, coffee only with do-it-yourself machines, too many insects on the food left uncovered by the carelessness of the staff and the rudeness of the guests. On the other hand, I found the pool service in order and above all the beautiful platforms overlooking the sea. Umbrellas and sunbeds are looked after and supervised, and if you go down early you can enjoy an excellent place even in the front row... Good and attentive lifeguards. Pleasant and present entertainment, but no longer what it used to be, common areas to be looked after more, and above all regarding piles of rubbish that we saw accumulate in several places and left there without anyone removing them. It is not possible in the central structure to open the door of your room and find outside five bags full of everything indoors that gave off a very unpleasant smell. In short, much more attention to hygiene. Price paid a bit expensive compared to what they offer. Too bad, I still found a Ferrari but without petrol and without a soul and the memory of a happy time saddens me. At the moment I do not recommend it, there are better in the area and at more convenient prices, that someone takes charge of the situation soon and tries to correct it. Ad maiora!!

I stayed with my partner for a week in June. I found the resort welcoming with very helpful staff. The much appreciated animation involved us in fun activities and without ever being too intrusive. A note of credit to Paolo… his cocktails were amazing…. Good and congratulations again !!!!
