A 2 week stay booked through Inghams. The food was just amazing. Advertised a BB and evening meal with a cake buffet in the afternoon but effectively full board and more! The staff (restaurant, rooms, wellness and reception) are just the loveliest, friendliest people. Wine list prices eye watering but overall a wonderful hotel and great place to stay. Lovely room, hotel spotless throughout. Great location for exploring the area.

Nice room, fantastic service, arranged a taxi for us and helped hunt our missing bag for us. I forgot the guys name when we first checked in but he was a real gent and very helpful. The meal was expensive for what it was and after a long days hike you need to refuel and the food served here left you wanting for a lot more. The main of one slice of beef, 4 small potatoes and a runner bean wrapped in bacon with 1 scoop of sorbet for desert for £35 left a lot to be desired. It is style over substance on the food front but the hotel was absolutely perfect.

Fabulous . All you want for a ski hotel . Good food great service .. lovely bar, centrally located and perfect for the town. Cannot recommend it high enough The breakfast is exceptional and the afternoon snack a much missed treat . We had a great trip

As a large family group we loved staying here! The location was great in the midst the Main Street and near to everything. The wellness centre was marvelous at the end of the day. While the room and food were also very good, the standout feature for us was the lovely staff! They were so helpful and kind when we had problems with a card and a booking ap. Nothing was too much trouble and their help was invaluable. But we found all the staff were welcoming and lovely to be around. So well done - 5 star staff!👏

This was our third time to stay at the Alte Post. It was its usual excellent self. It’s location is first class in the Main Street close to the Galzig and Rendl lifts. The food was excellent on the whole and the staff very helpful and friendly. The pool and spa were top class and spotless. The only thing I’d say by way of constructive feedback is that the rooms and public areas are now dated when compared to other hotels of this price and quality in the Alps. It definitely needs a refit in these areas. Nothing wrong with them but definitely dated when you compare them to the Post in Stuben or the Schwartzer Adler or Post in St Anton.

This was our second visit to the hotel for a short ski trip . The first time I bought my younger children aged 11 and 14 . This time my 19 year old .The hotel is very charming and is ideal as it is close to Intersport so it’s easy to store skis and boots there en route to slopes so all very easy . Cosy historic hotel, with lots of character , breakfast delicious with many choices and evening meal excellent food for foodies and 5 courses . The stars of the hotel were Tony ( Antonides) and Maurizio - both excellent waiters giving 5 star service and an absolute delight to be looked after by. We were treated like royalty . Will definitely come back ! Thanks to Maurizio and Tony for making our stay so wonderful !

A high quality hotel with a traditional look and feel. Our room (one up from standard) was warm, comfortable and spacious with a large bathroom. The breakfast and dinners were excellent (what a chef!), the serving staff couldn’t have been nicer or more keen to assist. The facilities we used include the ski room (well appointed and easy to use/get to the lifts), gym and the beautiful lounge and bar. The only suggestion for improvement would be the WiFi connection as it was rather hit and miss. We would definitely stay here again.
