I had a very nice stay at this Hotel. I found it well kept and family oriented. It is very close to the Riffelsee lift. The food from the restaurant was up to expectations! The bus to the glacier train leaves right outside the door and there is a ski rental in the basement.

We had an excellent stay at the Mittagskogel hotel in the top season holiday period. The hotel is located at the centre of Mandarfen, right across the street to the Rifflesee lift and the skibus stop for transport to the Pitztaler Gletscher (5 mins). Skischool and lift also across the street. As the hotel has an excellent wellness area with sauna, swimming pool, resting room and an après ski Schirmbar next to the hotel sun terrace: all you could wish for is available at the hotel. The rooms are very clean with plenty of wardrobe space, beds are good, only issue is the pillows which are very thin. The food is truly excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We recommend this hotel for an excellent experience!

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Mittagskogel war perfekt. Alles hat gepasst, super freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer und köstliches Essen. Nicht nur die Erwachsenen waren rundum zufrieden, auch die Kinder hatten eine super Woche und waren glücklich. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Fijn hotel, heerlijk eten en zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. Super gezellige après ski un de schirmbar naast/van het hotel. Gaat niet tot laat door, dus geen geluidsoverlast als je gaat slapen. Skiruim met handig opbergsysteem voor ski’s en skischoenen worden verwarmd. Locatie is super, recht tegenover Rifflseebahn. Je hoeft alleen maar de weg over te steken.

Die 4 Sterne sind sehr knapp verdient. Es gibt viele kleine Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten: Kaltduschen im Ruheraum anstatt in der Sauna. Lärm vom „Schirm“ im Saunabereich Frühstückssäfte sind pure „ Chemie“😒 Croissants sind um 8 Uhr ausverkauft Rührei manchmal angebrannt Salatbuffet wird um Punkt 20 Uhr abgeräumt Schalter für den Handtuchwärmer hängt unerreichbar unter der Zimmerdecke 🤦🏻♂️ Aber die Weinauswahl ist prima 😉 …und das Personal ist sehr nett!!

Schon bei der Anreise wurden wir freundlich und herzlich empfangen. Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet war mehr als reichlich und für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Das Frühstücksei in form eines Strammen Max, war perfekt gebraten. Nach dem Skifahren waren wir im Hoteleigenen Schrim bei guter Laune, leckeren Getränken und freundlichem Personal hervorragend aufgehoben. Der Kaiserschmarren war Sterneverdächtig….😋 Die abendlichen fünf Gänge, waren allesamt köstlich und man ging auf spezielle Wünsche des Gastes sehr gerne ein. Alles in Allem würden wir immer wieder in diesem Hotel unseren Urlaub verbringen.

Wir kommen seit 30 Jahren in den Mittagskogel. Vom ersten Tag an fühlen wir uns wie zu Hause. Tolles Personal, sehr gutes, ausgewogenes Essen. Großzügige Zimmmer. Schirm und Bushaltestelle direkt vorm Eingang zum Hotel !! Luggi's Pitztal-Team
