It's a truly refreshing feeling! The proprietress's photography skills are incredible. She can create stunning photos from any angle, and with the unparalleled views, you won't be able to fit them all into your Instagram feed; every single one is absolutely amazing! The location is also incredibly convenient. It takes less than two minutes to walk to the snack street. Wake up in the morning and head straight for the delicious local breakfast snacks. If you're visiting Guifeng, this B&B is a no-brainer. You won't regret it!

Location is good. But all the room smelled cigarettes. And when I go there the temperature is around 20 - 28 degree Celcius. And The hotel turn off the Cool Air Conditioner. So you cannot turn on the cool air conditioner at your own room. You can only turn on fan or heater. It is really hot. Very frustrating. Not recommended hotel.

Initially booked a deluxe queen suite and Trip.com / hotel confirmed we could add a single bed. Upon arrival, hotel said they couldn't and changed us to a family suite even though they have rollaway beds available and the deluxe queen suite had ample space. Room: Family suite is spacious but A/C took very long to warm up the room. Bathroom is open concept with clothing rack situated outside the shower closet which makes it inconvenient to dress/undress. Breakfast buffet has a decent selection of Chinese dishes including a noodle station. Location: Hotel is ＜10 min drive from train station and old town area which is quite convenient considering that most of the hotels that are walking distance from the old town are dated and undermaintained.

Before commenting, considering not to bring too much personal emotions, I decided to stay again two months after leaving the hotel. Facilities: The hotel facilities are remarkable, but don't compare them with the requirements of first-tier cities. I personally feel that they are still okay. Hygiene: Very clean, the aunt who cleans the room is friendly, thumbs up! Environment: Downtown area, convenient. Yong'an is where I was born. It can be said that I left my hometown, took root, and returned to my hometown. The surrounding environment is also friendly. Service: The service of the hotel's housekeeping department is great. I like all the room service including the front desk staff👍 The most ”exciting” part is here, and the key point is: it is not recommended to dine in the restaurant on the 2nd/3rd floor of the hotel. The service attitude of the catering department is really bad (note⚠️ I mean the dinner restaurant catering. The aunts who provide breakfast and cook flat meat rice noodles and noodles are super enthusiastic)! The story started when the hotel front desk informed that the restaurant was full that night (during the Spring Festival), but you can go to the restaurant to order dishes and have them delivered to the room. The waiter took us to the director of the catering department to order food. The director's reaction to the guests was to sit in his office chair and say, ”I'm busy and don't have time” (she can't even stand up in front of the guests, and can't do the most basic etiquette. How did she become this director? A relative?!) We didn't care much, and the waiter could only go to their manager. The manager gave us a menu. After looking at the menu, I found it a bit difficult (personal taste is used to authentic Cantonese cuisine, after seeing the mixed dishes on the pad). After the manager of the catering department heard me and my father say something, she suggested that if we feel that it is not suitable, we can go to the restaurant on the corner of the first floor. We immediately asked if the restaurant downstairs was of the same level of food, and the answer we got was: ”It's almost the same, our employees eat there.” But when we got downstairs, we were dumbfounded 🙄 a dimly lit small stall with worrying hygiene conditions. I really can't understand that a so-called four-star hotel catering manager still has such a poor understanding of customer needs when repeatedly asking guests to confirm whether the food is of the same level. We can only go back to the restaurant again and ask if we can introduce a nearby restaurant of the same level. The attitude of the waiter in the catering department was cold and impatient: ”Everywhere is full now, there are no seats, such as the old Yong'an in the street, Xi Xiangfeng, which are of the same level, but there should be no seats.” At that time, I was really angry. I thought, how could a four-star hotel have such a poor service in the catering department, especially during the Chinese New Year. The family had not been back to Yong'an for more than ten years. They went back happily to visit their relatives, but encountered such a bad thing. Afterwards, we also reported this situation to the hotel front desk, and the director of the housekeeping department also apologized to us (again, this matter has nothing to do with the housekeeping department), and proposed to send yogurt as compensation (I don't know if there is a tradition in domestic hotels to send yogurt to settle the matter, but we strongly refused), sister, I really don't need it. As guests, we are more inclined to believe that if this kind of catering service is not improved, it is equivalent to directly smashing the hotel's signboard, and a good housekeeping department will be implicated. Finally, we went to ”Xin Xiangfeng” for dinner. There is no harm without comparison. The catering service is enthusiastic and the dishes are well cooked. Next time I go to Yong'an, I will probably consider other four-star or above hotels. But I still want to say sincerely that apart from the issue with the food and beverage department, the entire stay experience was still good, and I would like to thank the housekeeping department and the front desk staff in particular. A friend recommended this hotel, and overall, it was fantastic! The receptionist was very kind and gentle, and she upgraded our room for free. The facilities were complete and cozy, and the lake view from the balcony was amazing—so pleasant! The hotel staff were all very polite, always greeting us with a smile, even the chefs and room service staff. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming everywhere. Nice hotel, right in the most attractive part of Taining town. It's a few minutes walk from the historic district, right on the river front. Easy access also to get to the natural scenic areas of the region. The hotel itself is nice, clean, well-maintained. The room is spacious and has modern features. The staff is very helpful, they do their best to accommodate a laowai customer. The only critique I have that is true for the vast majority of the hotels in China that the breakfast isn't exactly attractive for foreigners. One can of course eat Chinese breakfast with steamed buns and spicy soups and things like that most of the time, but occasionally I wouldn't mind to have a western style option available too. In a four star hotel I would expect this to be on the menu

The service was average because there was no breakfast. The auntie who made breakfast quit and was looking for one. There were only McDonald's and KFC around (KFC didn't turn on the air conditioner, it was very hot). There were breakfasts sold at the intersection, but you could only take them back to the hotel, which was not very convenient. Everything else was good. It's not in the downtown area, but next to Wanda, there were many people. The food was not fancy, but it met basic requirements.

Every time I go back to Ninghua's hometown, the first choice is Swan International Hotel. Convenient location, close to home, convenient parking. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was solid, and it was as safe as going home. The front desk and waiters were very warm and gentle, making people feel very kind. There are many types of breakfast, and the taste of hometown is very satisfying. The overall environment is quiet and decent, it is really suitable to visit relatives here, five-star recommendation!
