Hotel Orosol by Typic Hotels

Hotel illegally charged my card on arrival for £480 without my consent even though the room was already paid for. They tried to do the same to my friend who checked-in just before me. Still haven't received my refund and it has been over 3 weeks! Be careful when staying here.

Had a lovely stay here for a friend's wedding. Good location and hospitable staff who made us feel very welcome. Will book here again when we come back. It was a good price for the quality of the room - short walk to the seafront and no sound disturbance in the night from people coming back later than we did!

We stayed in the Hot Tube Suite..... Lovely Room although a little on the small side (Toilet Room was tiny) but overall it was perfect for what we needed it for - Room was Clean, Everything worked fine, Friendly Reception Staff and in a Great Location

My room was dirty when I arrived and had other people's hair all over the floor, no towels were in the room either. The safe was open but locked. It's almost like they didn't clean the room in between guests. It's loud in the mornings making it hard to sleep. The breakfast wasn't good. I also got a way different room than what was pictured. The only good thing was the location. It was very walkable to the area and attractions.

This review would be 5 stars, if it wasn’t for the receptionist at the hotel called “Maria”. From the minute we arrived at the hotel Maria was blunt and rude to us at check in, and preceded to hold a grudge against us for our whole holiday. She mentioned her ex boyfriend was from the same county that we live in (Kent), so we assumed that this was the reason she was so rude to us, however that is no excuse to have such poor customer service skills in a professional environment. At check in my friend asked to upgrade his room, as he’d been advised on the phone he could ask on the day for this, yet she seemed annoyed and unhappy that she was having to do a tiny bit more work to check him in, despite it being a request that could result in the hotel earning more money. She turned her nose up at us every time she saw us walking through reception, despite us only being respectful throughout the whole stay. Small things such as she gave us a straight and blunt “No” when we went up to reception to ask for an Iron and ironing board and when we asked for the possibility of a late check out, whereas when we asked another receptionist both these questions, they took their time to investigate and try to help us out. To then top this all off, me and my friends were waiting in reception whilst we all showered and got ready to go to the airport, she was making strange sarcastic remarks towards us, which we entertained out of respect and to try to keep things friendly, until she told one of my pals to sit up straight in the comfy chair he was sitting in. The tone she took was as if she was his mother or school teacher, and sparked us all off to complain at her for her lack of customer service skills. This argument heated further and further, until the point we asked to speak to her manager, but she refused this request using the excuse that it was a Saturday. At the end of this argument we said we’d had enough of her and hotel, so asked her to call us a taxi so we could leave and forget about the her and the hotel, to which she refused. This then meant finding a taxi elsewhere which put us at risk of missing our flight, as this argument had gone on for so long. She then threatened to call the police on us, which we agreed to given that we were not in the wrong, but it would seem this was an empty threat to try and get us to leave, as she proceeded to not call anyone. The hotel itself had good facilities and clean rooms, but was ruined by our experience with Maria, and I hope the hotel sees this review, so they can reflect on what kind of people they choose to hire for their front of house in the future

Ideally Situated just outside the main *****. We upgraded to the top floor room which was large and had the outdoor terrace. The room itself was nice but the aircon wasn’t mega cold and the bathroom needs updating. You share a pool with another hotel an 8 min walk up the road. We didn’t use it but walked past on our way to Ibiza rocks and it looked ok. My gripe was that I had an email saying checkout was 1pm which was ideal for our flight, however when we arrived we were told it was 11am. They will hold your bags for you, but that didn’t suit our day. I would return as we only do 2 night stays.
