Spa Hotels in Santa Barbara

The resort was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean. We brought our golden retriever and it was a very pleasant stay for him as well. The location is close enough to the shops and restaurants of State St. but far enough away to be peaceful and not too crowded. My only complaint is the food. We ate at all of the different restaurants and each time we were so disappointed by the quality of the food and the prices were astronomical. I don't mind paying a lot for good food, but this food was worse than what I make at home and I am not a good cook! My daughter ordered the lobster roll at The Set and it was terrible. $30 down the drain. We had breakfast at The Roundhouse and the avocado toast was beyond bland. Then we tried lunch at the Terraza del Mar - I got a chicken Cesar salad and my daughter got a poke bowl. The salad was cole slaw mix and chicken, that was it. Her poke bowl didn't have the rice that it was supposed to have and was horrible, she couldn't have more than a couple bites. I would stay at the resort again, but would never eat at any of their restaurants again. Better to Doordash or eat off property.

The Motel turned out to be very good. King Bed was a delight. Room was very nice. Looks like they modernized it. Clean and all we needed for a fine stay. Come and enjoy! The review needs to be two hundred characters so I will fill up the remaining space. There. Did it.

The room is large, the balcony has a sea view, breakfast service but charge, the hotel is warm, the building is Spanish style, the travel is very convenient, you can park, there is a bus at the door.

Breakfast is a typical Western breakfast, with cereal, bread, cake, coffee, simple but sufficient. The location of the hotel is superb. Go out and turn right and walk 3 minutes to the beach, and 5-6 minutes to the pier. Cute renovated old hotel with the vintage elevator very charming. However, I booked the hotel because it was promoted as a hotel with a spa. However, it did not have a spa and recommended a spa that was several miles away. Although I think I might go back cute.

The hotel looks very well maintained. My room had a sofa and desk along with the king size bed. Big room for a hotel. The bathroom and sink area are alittle small, but very modern and tiled. The shower was excellent. The pool and jucuzzi were crystal clear and clean. Pretty big pool with a deep end of 8 ft. The location is about 8 minute drive to downtown, but there are several restaurants within walking distance. The area seems nice, don’t let the closed hotel next door scare you away.

The Marriott Residence Inn in Goleta has been our families home away from home when they visit. My parents live on the east coast and come to visit several times a year and always stay here. It is truly a vacation for them. From the delicious breakfast each morning, to the comfortable room and amazing amenities in my opinion it's the best place to stay in Santa Barbara. My dad loves the pool, jacuzzi and workout room. My mom loves sitting by the fire pits. I'm always amazed by how incredible the staff is. They are so helpful, friendly and attentive to everyone's needs. I can't thank them enough! I would highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.
