Hotel Escuela Santa Brígida

The breakfast was very good. The rooms are clean, but the furnishings are outdated.

Although we looked at several places to celebrate our wedding in the area, since we were getting married in the church of Santa Brígida and we did not want our guests to have to travel too much, we quickly opted for the Hotel Escuela. First of all, it is where hospitality students are trained, and in the first meeting it was clear to us that the catering was from the hotel itself, that the food would be served hot and that nothing would be missing. Another of the big reasons for selecting the place was the accommodation. We didn't want our guests to drink and have to drive afterwards, so they gave us a good price for the people who stayed at the hotel for the wedding. It was wonderful to find 40 people in the morning having breakfast at the buffet and telling stories from the previous night. The menus were quite varied, we served hot dinner, the drinks were mid-range, with good quality, and also by hiring the different suppliers, the hotel allowed us to have the wedding to our liking. It is true that they have several rooms, but since we had 150 guests, we took the room that is right next to the garden, which allowed us to put up a bouncy castle and have the children entertained, the Photocall, the chocolate fondiu, without crowding the space where the tables and the DJ were. I honestly recommend their services, they advise you according to your ideas and suggest various suppliers. I must also highlight that they have modernized the space, the furniture and that the cane chairs along with the tablecloths make a rustic feel ideal for the area where we are. Our theme was Christmas and Indira helped us choose the tablecloths they have (you can also bring whatever you want). Thank you very much for having served us so well from minute one, and of course my congratulations to Tere, the waitress, and especially to Bruno and Dácil, who made the event wonderful by serving all the diners by the dozen. Hemos celebrado aquí los bautizos de nuestros dos hijos y las dos veces ha sido un acierto total. La atención con los preparativos, el servicio, la comida y las instalaciones son excelentes. Tanto nosotros organizándolo como todos los invitados hemos quedado más que satisfechos. Repetiríamos sin duda cuando tengamos ocasión. Muchas gracias por todo a Indira por su atención y a todos los que estaban ese día haciendo que todo saliera perfecto y fuera especial.

No tenemos palabras para agradecer al HESB cómo organizaron la celebración de nuestra boda. Desde el primer momento percibimos el interés por parte del personal, especialmente el equipo de Eventos (Pilar, Indira y Tere), por lo que deseábamos hacer en una ocasión tan especial para nosotros. Tuvimos su apoyo y colaboración a la hora de cuadrar todos los detalles, haciendo prácticamente de “wedding planner” para nosotros. Esa velada fue todo rodado, solo tuvimos que dejarnos llevar por el equipo del HESB sin preocuparnos de nada más que de disfrutar con nuestros amigos y familia. ¡Y eso hicimos!, fue una celebración maravillosa, rodeados de la gente que nos quiere. Todos esa noche nos felicitaron porque el salón quedó precioso, la comida estuvo deliciosa, la tarta fue espectacular, el servicio sobresaliente,… En fin, fue una boda inolvidable. En cuanto a las habitaciones del hotel, varios de nuestros invitados se alojaron en ellas esa noche y nos transmitieron lo cómodas y agradables que fueron. Nosotros pasamos la noche en la Suite y podemos corroborarlo, aunque tuvimos poco tiempo para disfrutarla. ¡Seguro que encontraremos otra ocasión para hacerlo! Daniel y Ricardo.
