Terrible boat/hotel/activities integration, we were advised to stop in one of the docks to quad bike and horse ride, only to find out after a half an hour hike uphill that it was all booked up. Don’t visit this resort, otherwise the lake is beautiful and local people charming

This place has 3 locations: one hotel and bungalow site in the village center of Zirahuén, another one 20 min out of the village, and a restaurant in the middle. All 3 locations are on the shore of the Zirahuen lake. We stayed in one of the wooden bungalow huts at the “Alpina” site 20 minutes from the village and had a wonderful relaxing time. Service is friendly, the wooden bungalow huts are simple but have all the amenities you need for a stay in nature, and are very charming. The site offers all kinds of activities, including horseback riding, a zipline, and rents out kayaks and rowing boats. The views of the lake are wonderful.

Do not stay at this so-called "resort" alpine cabins. Small cabins, no WiFi, and very very expensive. Uncomfortable beds, everything very simple and no good treatment. They offer activities, but everything is at an extra cost. Even if you want to use a villar table they have at reception it is at an extra cost. If you want to go to the bathroom they charge you. Definitely a terrible experience. There is nothing nearby, not even where to buy water. And they only give you two bottles per cabin. The worst experience I have had. Very expensive and for nothing. They do not have activities to spend a good weekend. They do not offer you anything extra. I definitely do not recommend it.

The most beautiful cabin I have ever stayed in. This time we traveled with friends and we stayed in one of the suites that have one of the best views of Lake Zirahuen. I loved the place very close to the zip line and recreational activities. Ideal for a group of friends or a couple.

We went on a family trip and the cabin was very nice, we stayed one night. Our problem was when we wanted to go to the amusement area. We had to take a boat to get there and when we went to the reception they told us that there had to be at least 15 people to start selling tickets and they didn't want to sell them to us. We left our phone number and told them that we would be there so they could contact us while we went to have breakfast at the restaurants there. Two hours went by and they didn't call us. During that time people started arriving at the dock with tickets and a boat was full. Our children were already angry from waiting since we weren't receiving a call. We asked the person in charge of the boats why the other people already had tickets and he told us that we had to buy them at the reception. By then they were already filling up a second boat and we still didn't have tickets. My husband went and asked what had happened and they told him that the call was not coming through and that they could sell him tickets when the 15 people got together again, that the second boat was already full and we would have to go on the third. We didn't think so because it wasn't fair to have to wait once again since we had bought tickets early and should have left on the first trip. When we complained they had no choice but to let us get on the second boat, otherwise our time on the lake would have been ruined because it rained hard right on the way back.

The place and everything is very nice because of course it is natural, but what about the service? I can only recommend not eating at the Snack Bar, it is terrible and super slow. The place is not air conditioned at all. The heat is unbearable and it is obvious that these types of places only focus on money and not on the services they claim to offer.
