Property Description
Above the fog line yet an easy drive to beach, town, and all major highways this one-level house (Vacation Rental Permit # 11159 expires 9/15/2025) overlooks a gorgeous private meadow surrounded by forest with distant views of the coastal mountains. A monumental 350-year-old coastal oak tree (10,000 sq ft canopy) shades an enormous deck that transitions to multiple gardens on 2 1/2 acres. The open floor plan surrounds the chef's kitchen. Spending time in the hot tub, the meadow room with char-pit or outdoor garden shower are guest favorites. Upland vistas are a short hike, where as, world class destinations like San Fransisco, Carmel, Monterey, Cupertino and Oakland are all easy day trips. Tucked up against the Zyante Sand Hills Habitat and the Quail Hollow Ranch Equestrian Park wildlife on parade is the norm. Swimming holes are near, as is the fabulous salt-water pool and club house at the Trout Farm Inn. Some of the best music venues found in the central coast are hidden gems on the mountains. Detached office and garage with electric car port might be available with advance arrangement.

Perfect Location
A great location for the Santa Cruz area. We enjoyed rivers, lakes, forest walks, train rides, and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk all within 20-30 minutes from our stay. The house was amazing and very roomy. Great out door patio and the hot tub was the perfect end of the day rejuvenation. Great place to visit.

Beautiful home with an incredible yard
This property was absolutely lovely. The check-in and check-out instructions are very thorough, and the hosts are extremely communicative -- to the point that they called a few minutes after I booked to double-check that I was aware I was putting 7 people in a 1000 sq. ft. house, and then we chatted for half an hour while Lolly told me about the neighborhood and gave me suggestions for things to do. There were a few oddities around the house, but all within the normal and acceptable realm of rental properties. The only thing that was not clear from the listing was that you need to remove the chair from the small bedroom with the bunk bed before pulling out the trundle mattress -- the room technically has 3 beds, but having the third out eats up the entire empty floor area. That said, we had 4 adults and 3 kids in the house and were completely comfortable.

Lovely outdoor sanctuary
The hosts were super communicative and responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. The property grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. We really enjoyed unwinding in the garden after long days exploring all of the adventures the area has to offer.

They were so kind with checking on us when we first got there. Great recommendations for things to do in the area. They even warned us to bad weather that was coming. Great experience.
