Aparthotel Los Dragos del Sur

4th floor apartment near quiet pool area and terrace which was open for drinks until 6pm. If you have difficulty walking this area would not be for you as quite hilly. No beach here you have to walk each way to a,beach and only small 30 minutes to the right on a sea front path to Los Gigantes and 1 hour to the left to Alcala. You have to walk to the promenade in each direction. Room spacious and equipped with all the basics, very clean and all the staff cheerful and friendly. Breakfast adequate for our needs and varied. Room cleaned regularly and it was my birthday and I was left a basket of fruit and a bottle of Cava, a lovely surprise. supermarket 100 yards away just to the left of entrance. Bus stops literally a minute away with easy access to the rest of the island and well worth buying a 10 Euro ticket for a day pass to go to other places. No airport shuttle and it was 60 euros for taxi one way. 477 or 473 takes you to Adeje bus station for 4 euros and then the 40 from the bus station to the airport, easy and saves a lot of money, takes around 2 hours. Reception friendly and helpful. Car hire 3 doors up but no cars until after 25th December.......I wonder why?? Beds have memory foam mattresses and were comfortable. as we are not look people would have loved a recliner on patio but not much space. Hairdryer 10 euros for the stay in cash, returned when you take the hairdryer back. All in all a great stay, not too noisy, built up but not a massively busy resort. Only thing I would change is the hotel offering an evening meal although next to the hotel are a number of good eateries all to good standard.

Hotel is great and have stayed many times. Staff friendly. Breakfast great. Rooms lovely clean and fresh. Would give full marks but for now they have no English TV channels. Lovely flat screen tv on wall but nothing to watch. Had these channels until March 24 then disappeared. Told they would be restored but stayed Sept 24 and still not resolved. Will have to cancel future xmas stays.

Had 3 days at this lovely hotel, apartment spacious and clean. We had breakfast included with wide choice of options. The pool bar was lovely great price and lovely views. Got a bus to Los Gigantes whilst there. The town has a couple of hippo Dino express supermarkets and lots of lovely restaurants. Would recommend

We stayed here in April for a 5 night break and the hotel was pretty much everything that we expected. It is a 3 star hotel and that is reflected in the price as well as the general presentation of the hotel as a whole. The rooms were really well presented and the kitchen area was well stocked. Nice balcony overlooking the sea for a small additional cost. The staff were so welcoming and helpful from reception to catering and cleaning teams. The breakfast selection was excellent and caters for many tastes and has plenty of hot and cold dishes on a buffet basis. The pool area was nice and secluded and there were plenty of sunbeds available whilst we were staying. Plenty of local buses taking you to other towns and there are some good coastal walks to Los Gigantes in one direction and Alcalá in the other and the buses are nice and cheap too. Overall we found it to be very good value for money under and made for a really relaxing break.

Lovely hotel, extremely clean, good location. Would only recommend visiting here out of term time as the pool area is quite small but we were lucky it was so quiet in March. The pool bar food was lovely and great cocktails with daily price deals. Breakfast buffet was also lovely. Only downfall was the reception staff were rude and not helpful.

We stayed here for 3 weeks in January. It's very well located in the centre of Puerto de Santiago. We requested a sea view room which had a really excellent view out over the ocean and also along the ***** of shops and restaurants. The bus stop is located a few yards from the front door with the 477 bus going to the main tourist hubs of Adeje (45 mins) and the smaller, lovely towns of San Juan and Alcala. There is a great tour opertator a few doors down to the right who is helpful and knowledgeable and can help book trips, tours, car hire, taxis , golf etc. The hotel itself was perfect for what we needed. Rooms are serviced 5 days per week (excl Thu & Sun) and there is a good choice at the breakfast buffet. The kitchen is well-equipped with all you need to make lunches and dinners at home - this saves a lot of money with not having to eat out every day. There are lots of mini supermarkets nearby and a good Lidl about 10 - 15 mins walk away. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly. The apartment is spacious & bright, with plenty or starage and a nice, big balcolny. The pool and pool area are small but nice. There were plenty of sunloungers available at all times and the pool bar is open daily 10am-6pm with drinks and light lunch time snacks at really reasonable prices. You can hire a hairdryer from reception for €10 deposit which you get back. We thought the daily fee of €2.50 (non returnable) for a safe key was very expensive (as we were there for 3 weeks) and rather a silly additional charge. There is a laundry on the 6th floor where you can use the washing machine, tumble dryer (both coin op) and iron (free). There is also a collection of books on the 4th floor near the pool which guests can help themsleves to for reading while there. Overall, for a 3 star hotel, we thought this place was very good and we would go back.
