The Memories Jibacoa Hotel

I have visited this resort many times and will likely visit again only because of KIKi and the wonderful staff. The Hotel has undergone some upper management changes with management that does not quite understand why people visit a beach resort. I have seen personnel changes that seem completely contradictory to guest satisfaction and a noticeable missing element of the Diamond Club Level of service that is offered at a elevated price. The problem is that the Hotel always seems to be missing some of the most simple things that make the Diamond Club experience incomplete. One example, Tonic water, they are always out of tonic water so if you pay for Diamond Club and your drink is Gin & Tonic , your out of luck. The other issue is the beach bar “ el ranchon” is missing fundamental elements and often closes early even in the warmer months with extended daylight, it’s a Beach Resort, that’s why people visit.
