Great stay in the casa de piscina, we had the whole house with the fireplace for us. Fernanda is an amazing cook and is delightful, just ask if you need anything. The vineyard and the view are beautiful even in winter. Great escape and location.

We had a wonderful two night stay in this lovely and characterful property. It was very quiet - only two other couples staying while we were there, and Fernanda was a charming and informative host who takes great pride in the Quinta and estate - showing us round the interior and into the impressive vegetable gardens and to meet their donkey in the woods. She cooked us two lovely meals served on the balcony which we had to ourselves. A truly memorable experience.

Tudo é um encanto na Quinta de Guimarães. A começar pela D. Fernanda que nos recebeu com uma hospitalidade, já rara nos dias de hoje, e nos fez sentir como que a fazer uma visita à casa dos nossos antepassados. Não ficámos alojados porque não havia disponibilidade para as datas que pretendíamos, mas não quisemos deixar de visitar a quinta e fazer uma prova dos verdes brancos Avesso que ali se produzem. Na remodelação da casa imperou o bom gosto, a tradição e o clássico original. Notável! A prova de vinhos, que são realmente diferentes dos verdes de outras sub-regiões do Minho e muito bons, foi acompanhada com umas tapas regionais caseiras absolutamente deliciosas. Obrigado, D. Fernanda! Voltaremos, da próxima vez para ficar alojados.
