We stayed for 5 nights, and it’s been one of the best experience visiting USA. The lobby is beautiful, the location is beautiful with ocean beach views, and the staffs here are world class. Lucian has been very helpful correcting the numbers regarding the dining during the stay and clear up all the confusion. On top of that, he gave an excellent service, being super friendly, yet very professional. I really enjoy talking to him, and I’m sure other guests seem, too. We’ve also been ordering from the dining room and the meals have been delicious, whether it’s the crab cake, the caramel cheesecake, the Oceana burrito, and more. Additionally, we have always run into Lucian, and he always gives us a welcome smile! Lucian really makes the dining experience here more special, and I’m grateful to have him around in the hotel throughout our stay! Overall, a very luxury and comfortable stay! One of the most charming boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Our experience was wonderful from the moment we pulled up to the valet. We were greeted by Jordan, who was super friendly and offered to help with all our luggage. Check in was a breeze! We were promptly welcomed by Taylor, and because i had inputed my details in the app, it took less than 2 minutes! We were upgraded to a suite, room 210, with a nice living room/seating area that was separated from the bedroom. Communicating with the front desk was so easy by text! We were able to get late checkout through text. The room was great! Bed was wonderfully comfortable, shower pressure was strong and towels were beautifully soft. We enjoyed the gym as well, in the basement behind the pool. There was a peloton bike and tread and although it was a smaller space, they had a nice mix of weights and machines. The pool chairs looked so comfortable! But the morning was too cool for a dip! Breakfast at sandpiper was delicious. We had fresh juices and an omelet and the American breakfast. We enjoyed it! Checkout was also breezy. We didn’t even need to stop, just dropped off the keys and our car was ready! Loved the location of this hotel. Right across the street from overlooking Santa Monica beach and the pedestrian bridge crossing is right there. Location can’t be beat. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay.

This hotel is a FRAUD. Do not go here. (TL:DR - first ask to see the Spa and the Restaurant before you check in, see below) What is sold is not remotely what you will get. A COMPLETE FRAUD. THERE IS NO RESTAURANT/BAR OVERLOOKING THE SEA AS SHOWN ON THE WEBSITE. THERE IS NO SPA THE ROOM IS NOT WHAT IS SHOWN ON THE WEBSITE (and when you inquire at the front desk the response is “yes, we know”). The in-room tablet (when you finally get it charged as it's broken) shows TWO RESTAURANTS AND A ROOFTOP BAR. They DO NOT EXIST. Hotels of this (supposed) calibre are required to put on the website that certain facilities are under construction as standard practice. This hotel did not. Complete and utter failure. Now how do I get my $3k back??????

Lenny and the team were excellent and provided us terrific service. We will be back to this magnificent hotel again. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and clean. The food is excellent and the ambience makes you feel at home. I look forward to the new restaurant coming soon!
