Great experience provided by Angel and his team. Hostel is easy to find but tucked away within an apartment block which gives you reassurance that you’ll be safe during your stay. Rooms, toilets and communal space are excellent and maintained to a high standard, well stocked with equipment and services to use during your stay. Regular cleaning is undertaken and signs throughout the premises ensure other guests adhere to the cleanliness standards of the hostel. 10/10 would stay at again and would recommend to a friend!

Very friendly hostel with a good location near to the bus station, train station and the sea. Lots of good restaurants nearby and a short walk to nice beaches. Luggage storage on day you leave is very useful, and they have a nice common area and kitchen

I stayed at this hostel as a stop on the Northern Camino route during a four-month trip where I primarily stayed in hostels and albergues. Unfortunately, this hostel stood out as the worst experience of my trip due to the owner's behavior, which was incredibly rude and erratic. Throughout my stay, the owner exhibited alarming mood swings, switching between being absolutely terrifying and threatening and then laughing it off as if nothing had happened. This created a very uncomfortable and unsafe atmosphere. Thankfully, I was traveling with a couple of friends, which made me feel somewhat safe, but I would not recommend this hostel to solo travelers, particularly solo women. The experience left me unsettled and took a significant portion of the next day’s walk to process. Based on the replies to other negative reviews, I anticipate the owner will post a defensive and unhelpful response. Nonetheless, I believe it's important to warn others to avoid a similar experience. Please consider other accommodations for a more pleasant and secure stay.

The location is very central. Walking distance from the bus and train station! It’s also close to the center and shopping store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend staying there for a fews night if you are in Santander or the one night if you are on the Camino

The company was great and so were the accommodations! The owner is incredible and his hospitality will be missed. Everything is clean and the atmosphere is welcoming and safe. Free breakfast was great and we were close to all of the main parts of the city. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

I recently stayed at Santander Central Hostel and it was fantastic. The location is perfect, close to attractions and transport. The entire place is very clean, and the rooms are spacious. The common room is great for relaxing and connecting with new people. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the staff is amazing. Recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The staff at this hostel were so friendly and helpful! The location of the hostel is great for transport as It's near the train/bus station. Since I came in June, free breakfast was also included which is great in itself, but also really good at encouraging more socialising - as a solo traveller that was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was cleaned regularly.

This lovely hostel is right next to the train station and a short bus or walk away from the beach and town. The staff were really friendly and helpful. As a Young female Traveller I felt very safe and welcomed. Would highly recommend if you are in Santander !
