Staying at hotel ilio was amazing! Maurizio and his staff were so accommodating and helpful to us. They gave us great suggestions for activities and places to eat. The town of S. Andrea was charming and you could walk to many restaurants and the gorgeous beach. The hotel was beautiful as well and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet every morning. We had apertivo on the terrace and enjoyed the gardens as well. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 4 nights in a fantastic suite right on the ocean front.It was 5 meters to the beach and restaurants .It was relaxed and peaceful and being close to restaurants did not interfere with our enjoyment or peaceful sleep.We can definitely recommend the sea side suite.The wifi was exceptionally fast.

A small boutique spread out across the hillside of St Andres. Nice but not exceptional. The views are not unobstructed to the sea like so many other hotels in Elba. The beds are very hard. Rooms are clean and have the essentials. Breakfast was lovely and abundant. The beach is lovely with gorgeous sunsets. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Excellent boutique hotel - one of the nicest in which we have stayed - 5 stars from start to finish. From the moment we were welcomed to the moment we left, everything was fabulous - location, rooms and especially the staff ! Molto grazie tutti!!

Hotel Ilio is a treasure. It's perched on the hillside overlooking the sea and a short walk to the beach. The owner Maurizio is incredibly welcoming and helpful. He secured excellent dinner reservations for us, and provided great advice on what to see. The hotel itself is comfortable, with plenty of outside spaces, and great breakfasts. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed a week at this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room had everything we needed and we had a lovely view of the sea from our balcony. We were made very welcome by all the staff and the breakfasts were very good. We certainly intend to stay at this hotel again and would recommend anyone visiting the beautiful island of Elba to stay here too.

We stayed here for 4 nights in the room on the sea. Pros: great view; very nice room with AC and refrigerator; nice bathroom and nice balcony; we loved being right by the beach and restaurants. The only con was that right next to our room on the neighboring property, there is a pump that runs all day and it is loud and very annoying. You can hear this pump in the hotel room which is a bummer. I don’t think Hotel Ilio can do anything about it because it comes from next door. Because of this noise, we kept the windows closed in the back and spent most of the time on the front balcony where you cannot hear the noise. I would definitely stay here again. But you need to be comfortable with the early noise of people getting the beach ready and the late night noise of people having fun on the beach. We didn’t mind those fun sounds, just the constant water pump sound. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely and it was great that parking was provided. The hotel’s website accurately describes the sea room as being a bit loud.

Das Hotel ist super schön, eine tolle Anlage mit vielen Ecken zum Entspannen. Der Garten ist ein Traum und lädt zum Relaxen ein. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mit einem gelungenem Frühstück auf der Terrasse kann der Tag gut starten. Die Zimmerreinigung war sehr, sehr gut. Obwohl unnötig, wurden täglich die Handtücher gewechselt. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Limoncello Spritz, den ich öfters am Abend auf der Terrasse genossen habe. Wer etwas Besonderes sucht und Ruhe liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir waren sicher nicht das Letzte Mal im Ilio. Danke an alle für diesen traumhaften Urlaub.

Sono tornato al Boutique Hotel Ilio per la terza volta e devo dire che non si smentisce mai! Frequento l'isola dal secolo scorso... letteralmente, era il 1999! L'ho girata tutta e Capo Sant'Andrea è in assoluto tra le località che preferisco. L'Hotel è molto curato e la gestione cordiale e simpatica: la mattina mi fermo sempre a scambiare due parole con il Sig. Maurizio, raffinato padrone di casa che ha sempre un buon consiglio su cosa fare, cosa visitare e soprattutto dove andare a cena! Le camere sono belle, pulite e arredate con gusto, rispettano perfettamente ciò che si vede in foto. La colazione sulla terrazza è uno spettacolo! Sicuramente io e mia moglie torneremo per un altro lungo week end romantico. Consigliatissimo!
