Hotel location is very good, downstairs is a relatively large high-end mall in Santo Domingo, opposite the largest supermarket, shopping is very convenient, convenient transportation, hotel clean and good breakfast! The hotel belongs to the city landmark building, the facilities are modern and new, this plus points. Free underground parking, easy access, and the front desk clerk is very friendly. Remember to add 20-30 US dollars, apply for a high-rise suite, the view is super good; there are free snacks and fruit water before 7:30PM every night. Breakfast is very good. The most important thing is that the dining has Chinese food, tea, the taste is very good, this is a plus. The room is a suite, living room, horizontal, bathroom independent space and large enough. The living room has a kitchenette (microwave, hot water bottle) coffee and tea. In this Caribbean island country, you can find a hotel produced by Chinese food, which is great! If you come here for business trips, it is highly recommended!

The rooms are super big and the facilities are very new. We are just across the road from the beach. Unfortunately, our room is relatively low and does not face the sea. However, I only stayed for one night, and I checked out at noon to 2 am, which had little effect. Breakfast is average, for Chinese, there are few choices. The hotel is integrated with the casino and the gate is separated. Overall the hotel is very good, next time I consider to choose this one, but be sure to choose a high-level sea room

The breakfast was really good and delicious. The staff was very friendly just I wrote them in order to change the room but they didnt reply me so I advice they check the messages and reply timely. The bedroom with 1 queen bed was really nice. They didnt have many options for 2 twin beds altought it was clean. AC works very good. Is really well located in downtown area, there are several restaurants and bars just by walking distance.

The deluxe bed booked this time, the front desk service is very warm, and the scenery outside the window is the most attractive to us. It is beautiful. GGuest UserI had stayed here before the pandemic about 3 times. The property is very clean, it is located in the older ”colonial” part of the city. Traffic in this area is a nightmare due to the narrow streets. SAFE area, police presence all over.
The GOOD: Clean, Safe, Staff Friendly, plenty of places nearby to eat. Breakfast supplied is ample and of decent quality, food for linch or dinner in the hotel restaurant is good though limited menu, space for seating is very limited inside the restaurant, water pressure in the shower is excellent the room safe is large. The BAD: Room Small like an IBIS, Bathroom smaller than an IBIS, A/C in my room was ”marginal” at best and previous stays here noticed this, Elevator very slow, the worst part this is not a business hotel. While the Internet provided is decent, there is NO work space available at all in the rooms. NO electrical outlets available all are hidden behind furniture or the bed and no desk type area. Had to charge my phone in the bathroom outlet and use computer on battery. Also had a room phone and minor toilet issue which I reported twice and nothing was done. DO NOT have the hotel arrange for the hotel taxi to drive you to the airport cost is $50.oo ! Make your own arrangements or get an UBER. CONCLUSION: While on vacation for a couple of days this is a Nice place to stay and see the colonial sights and enjoy the atmosphere. However, ”on business” this is not the place to stay. I will be returning on business for a longer stay in late January or early February, unfortunately I will have to stay elsewhere.

KkaryisamermaidThe hotel is now called casa colonial, it is extremely well located! Nearby the conde street and beautiful alleys, there is a big church across the street and a cozy cafe. The hosts were very nice, they make your breakfast and customize it according to your preferences, they serve nice coffee with it or juice as well. The hotel inside is an old colonial house, it has rooftop areas, green areas and a pool, each part of it looks very romantic. The rooms are nice, some are small and others are bigger but you feel you’re in another time zone. Will definitely go back!

I would like to, however give special thanks to Wesley at the front desk, he was very courteous and accommodating, especially that he speaks English well, we were able to communicate with ease and also the cleaning staff who always have a warm and pleasant look on their faces. One in particular name Molin.

- Breakfast is simple but good enough: toast with cheese and ham, coffee and a boiled egg.
-Spacious and clean room, friendly staff, can refill drinking water.
-500m walking to the gate of the colonial area.
- Taxi stand is at the same street
- Nice, spacious outdoor, sitting area
- A personal fridge in the room
Cons:
-A bit noisy from the road/a bar until around midnight.
- Shower is not really hot (only slightly warm).

CCHIY CHAOEverything Ok so stayed for 10 nights in a row. The price is cheap and the breakfast is very satisfying! There is Uber service room WiFi free enough. Next time I go to santo Domingo, I will still consider how many other hotels will be long-term.
