Hotel well located near the beach and shops. The staff was very friendly and gave us good advice. The manager speaks good French and runs this establishment perfectly. The breakfast nearby was excellent. Establishment to recommend

Perfect Mother & Daughter 4 night trip. Property is in a good location, close to the airport, and a stones throw from the beach, and amenities of Kamari. A fantastic mini market and coffee shop across from the property. The suites are lovely, big and airy, with a generous sized balcony. The pool area is divine - tranquil, albeit the overhead aircraft's coming into land. The property manager goes above and beyond to ensure you are having a nice stay. We had a late flight home and were able to keep our room until we needed to leave for the flight home I completely forgot to leave a tip for the lovely hard working cleaning ladies I felt terrible once I'd remembered!

Just back from my second stay at Kalya Suites this year and cannot wait to return next year. What an amazing, calm, friendly, clean, relaxing place to stay. From the moment you are greeted at the gate by the lovely, friendly Lefteris until the moment he waves you off again, you are made to feel most welcome and very safe. Nothing is too much trouble for all of the staff here and you are treated as friends. Dimitri on the bar is so nice and happy to give any advice he can on where to visit in Santorini. What a lovely young man. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and the well stocked minibar and snacks are a nice bonus. A couple of things would make the holiday even better. An upgraded bathroom and the reinstatement of breakfast in the room. I’d even pay extra for that! If you want a lovely relaxing holiday on the beautiful island of Santorini, then this is the place. Thank you once again Kalya. See you next year!

This is perhaps the loveliest hotel I have stayed in! To start, the decor was absolutely stunning. The paintwork was perfect, minimalist furniture which made the rooms look so much bigger. Ambience was divine. Staff were very pleasant and so welcoming- it felt like you were with friends. Absolutely beautiful.

Kayla suites are exceptionally clean, comfortable and well maintained. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to our child having an accident. You can be rest assured that you are in good and safe hands at Kayla Suites. Lefti who runs the place was amazing, he drove us straight to the hospital, stayed there to translate and waited to give us a lift back, in the end we had to send him home as we didn’t want to keep him waiting. He and his son Dimitri who also works there are some of the kindest and best people we’ve ever met. They go over and above, nothing is too much of an ask. They helped us with so much in only a few short days, organising a car for us to rent, transfers, and anything we needed! We will certainly go back to Santorini and Kayla Suites in the future and hope to see Lefti and Dimitri again. We can’t thank them enough for how amazing they were and the support they gave our family in a difficult time.

Staff: Savva, Lefteris, Demitri & Cleaners. All absolutely amazing, lovely & helpful. Nothing too much for them. No need to book things in advance as they can sort everything for you at better prices. The entire complex is exceptionally clean - rooms, pool, bar. Spotless. Fab modern rooms. We had a family split level suite. Nice & airy. Excellent aircon. Would’ve liked more storage space. Spacious balcony. Lovely pool open from 8-8 (bar from 11am). Comfortable sun loungers x16 which isn’t enough for all guests. Most of the time that’s fine, but on a couple of busy days there were bed wars - perhaps adding a few tables & chairs in the corners would help. Aeroplane noise no problem. Not that frequent & over in seconds. Very kindly gave us a little later check out. Food: there isn’t anywhere on site to get food, but there is an affiliate with an amazing local restaurant just 70 steps away called Soul by Splash. Totally fantastic service, food & drinks. This is where breakfast is served. Something delicious & different everyday. However if it’s not to your taste they can make you something different. I’ve also put a separate review on TA. I’ve been to all inclusive hotels where I’ve had to walk further for breakfast so this nice walk towards the beach was nothing. Lovely beach. 100 steps from the complex. Wind dependent. On a calm day it’s as clear as a home bath. On windy days the current was very strong. Definitely invest in some water shoes beforehand or they sell them in the local shops. Mini-market: just 30 steps from the complex, for drinks, ice creams, snacks & souvenirs. Next to it is a coffee shop with the best doughnuts. Referred to: Nektar restaurant in Fira, Catamaran Sunset cruise. Both excellent. Separate reviews on TA. Transfers, Taxi, Car Hire, Excursions: book via hotel as good prices. Airport tip: Actually cheaper to buy onboard the aircraft! A small bottle of Pepsi was €5 & a plain boring sandwich was €7! Highly recommend this hotel & would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

My husband and I have just returned from 5 days in santorini. I firmly believe in leaving reviews whether good or bad to help future couples alike in where to stay and what to do. Kalya suites is exceptionally clean We arranged a private transfer from the airport through savvas the manager. All responses from him were so prompt and so informative.the transfer cost is €25. When we arrived we were met by dimitrious he works in reception and the bar and essentially him and his dad run this little gem. He literally opened the door and when we walked in the character and cleanliness just stood out. Check in was the best weve ever experienced in a small resort We booked ground floor pool view suite and it was beautiful, spacious, everything you needed in it and so clean. Every morning 2 ladies from accomodation clean literally every inch of the suites out by the pool and of course your own room. Leaving a different towel art every morning from swans to flowers. Polite and friendly every morning you were greeted with a smile and "good morning" this by far leads to the overall experience we had. Breakfast is in splash restaurant and let's face it absolutely stunning beach front views every morning. The food is unbelievable and again the staff especially a lovely young lady every morning looked after us so well. The food is all homemade with 3 courses for breakfast. She explained the menu every morning and also most of the produce was home grown in their own garden. The taste was just unbelievable. Kamari is definitely the best part of the island to stay in. The promenade is lined with pretty restaurants and bars and shops. The bus stop for local trips to oia and fira was so great only 2euro single way. We took bus to fira early in the morning and then from fira to oia where we experienced the beautiful costal landscape and of course the famous blue dome churches. Oia is far more expensive but we only went for a fab iced coffee with the most amazing views of caldona. The weather was beautiful not a cloud in the sky but hot in 30s. In terms of drink it's little cheaper than ireland but their own produced wine was beautiful and ranged from 5 to 7 euro per glass. There's a cobbler in kamari who makes his own leather sandals and my husband and I bought a pair each. Again amazing service for a fraction of the cost of home. People on the island like locals are so friendly so happy and its the most relaxed island to visit, it's not commercialised in any way and it's so clean. Yes it's a bit barron when your on the bus or in a cab but there's no huge buildings or flats. We took the sunset catamaran cruise reccomended by the hotel staff and it didn't disappoint. It cost 160 each we were picked up at 3pm dropped home at 9pm. Free drinks wine water minerals only downside the fridge wasn't cold and they had no ice. I did pass this feedback on so they could look at it. The cruise stops at 3 beaches where you can swim and snorkel and they have life jackets to

We visited Kalya Suites in June 2024 as a group of four friends in our 40s looking for a relaxing holiday. The suites are located towards the end of the main ***** in Kamari and are behind an appealing wooden door. When you walk through the door, you step into a cobbled area leading to the pool and suites. Taxis are in short supply on the island, so are fairly expensive. We arranged a transfer with the hotel. It’s only 10 mins ride from the airport, and about €30. The whole resort is cobbled so heels are tricky to walk in if you plan to dress up in the evening. We stayed in a suite which was advertised as being for four people. The room seemed nice on arrival and had good air conditioning (important), however the air conditioning is driven by your door key, so it only works when you are in the room. Thankfully the manager gave us a spare card to keep it running for longer periods. The staff were really lovely and very accommodating. The room wasn’t really designed for four adults in our opinion. There was one hanging area with 11 hangers, one set of shelves and only the downstairs beds had a bedside table of any sort. The upstairs ceiling was very sloped (we were four fairly short ladies so would definitely be a challenge for a taller person) and there was literally a bed and nothing else upstairs. The room is very open so limited privacy. There were robes and slippers but only provided for two, although I am sure they would have provided more if asked. There was one bathroom with the toilet inside also. The shower fixings were broken and so you had to hand hold the shower to use it. We had already known there would be only one bathroom, but the hotel had advertised a toilet available at the poolside so we figured that was there for emergencies, unfortunately it was located in the managers office so was locked for long periods. The pool area is very nice with around 15 sun beds (important to note, not actually one per person) but we did find generally we could secure a sunbed when we wanted one. There is a little bar serving drinks. The hotel provides pool towels which you can also take to the beach. They give you a clean towel in the room every day. One of the reasons we had selected Kalya suites for the appealing description of breakfast delivered to your room each day to eat on your balcony. The website, nor booklet in the room, had not been updated and there is no food available at the hotel. We had looked forward to a Greek salad by the pool, but this was not the case. Breakfast was served at a local restaurant a short distance from the hotel. Breakfast was very nice and consisted of four courses. 1) cake and bread, 2) some kind of starter such as a sort of eggy pastry, 3) a main course, often omelette or scrambled eggs, and a dessert such as fresh fruit or yoghurt. It is a fixed menu each day, but we discovered if you talk to the staff they can adjust what is offered. For example we swapped out the main option for scrambled egg
