Oia Sunset Villas

Brilliant! Very friendly staff - always helpful and sharing all the best local tips. The place was conveniently located - secluded and away from the busy alleyways, marketplace and all other tourists coming by cruise - a 10-15 min walk away from the main centre. Immaculately presently home - very clean, tidy and big enough for the kids. The kids loved the infinity private pool and the hottub! Highly recommended

An amazing complex of 6 villas. We stayed in Diamond villa which had its own hot tub and swimming pool. In addition there are 2 lovely swimming pools with loungers and umbrellas. Incredibly relaxing location that feels like you are on a deserted island- but only an 11 minute walk into Oia. Cool bar to watch the sun go down. Great sunset, great massages and great staff (thank you Ana and Angelo).

The location and views were so beautiful. The villa was comfortable and had all the amenities a family could want. We enjoyed the pools, private jacuzzi, and breakfasts with an ociean view. And the staff were amazing -- top notch service! We wish we could have stayed longer!

Stayed at the Swinging Sunset Villa with family. The outdoors are superb, with a large private infinity pool, hot bathtub with Jacuzzi, and well laid garden. The sunset view is just perfect from the villa. The little inconveniences are: (1) bedrooms are either underground or in mezzanine requiring climbing up uneven stairs, (2) only two bathrooms for 3 bedrooms. The layout of bathroom is also cramped. (3) Kitchen space divided in two floors requiring up/down movement all the time. Food can be ordered from outside, but needs cash payment.

Oia Sunset Villas is a lovely, peaceful place to stay just outside the hustle and bustle of the town. The villas are beautiful and the pool areas very tasteful and a wonderful place to sit and watch the sunset without jostling with the crowds. The staff are very professional and helpful and, although breakfast is not included, the €15 option delivered to you villa are excellent. It is a stiff walk uphill to Oia but everyone knows that. The €20 euro taxi for the 500 metres back in the dark is crazy but, apparently, is the minimum charge. All in all a wonderful experience

We recently stayed at Oia Sunset Villas and it was a great experience from start to finish. We began with a private transfer from the airport to the hotel that was arranged by the hotel. Upon our arrival, the hotel was amazing. It was huge, it was clean, and it was very modern. Amongst everything, it also had a full kitchen and a washing machine. The staff who we dealt with was Angelo and later it was Anna, they were both very pleasant and helpful. The location of the hotel to the heart of Oia Village was close, about a 15 or so minute walk uphill to get there (remember, Santorini is a mountain), but walking back to the hotel was an easy downhill walk. When we were there, the weather was brutally hot so we ended up doing less than we planned in Santorini, so we took advantage of our private pool in the afternoon so we could cool off and unwind as a family. Some people prefer to stay in the heart of Oia Village, but I tell you from personal experience that: 1. Oia Village is exceptionally hot and crowded in the summer, and 2. it is full of steps going up and down, and 3. taxis/shuttles only take you just outside of the heart of the Village, so if you stay in the heart of Oia Village, you will have to carry your own luggage through this nightmare. But if you stay at Oia Sunset Villas, then the taxi/shuttle will drop you off at the steps of your own private villa. Overall, I highly recommend Oia Sunset Villas, and if I ever return to Santorini I would most definitely stay here again.
