I would 100% stay here again! Our host, Evaggelia was very welcoming and always happy to provide the best to make our stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. The villa was gorgeous and very clean. Breakfast every morning was also delicious with fresh produce.

From the moment we arrived to the time we departed, the staff, the breakfast, the layout of the unit, the location, the cleanliness and the services were outstanding. Evelyn, the manager/receptionist got to know us quickly and helped us with reservations for rental car, restaurants, catamaran cruise, and even ordering food. It was as if she knew our needs and desires for years! We requested the villa furthest from the road based on previous reviews and believe it was the best choice. We would recommend the "Silver" unit first; the "Gold" unit second; and the "Bronze" unit third.

This place was everything I wanted in a place of stay. Sunset view, private pool, excellent location and excellent privacy. Evelyn at reception is such a lovely person and was always on hand to help us with any questions or any needs we had. Mina (cleaner) was amazing at her job and alway left the place perfect and fresh. Jannis the maintenance man was such a laugh always laughing and joking with us. Would 100% recommend this place and would return to stay here if we visited the island again.

The Soil of Sun was absolutely wonderful!! Beautiful, brand new villa, great breakfast delivered to your room every morning, beautiful terrace, plunge pool and view—but the best part was our interaction with Evelyn. She greeted us like old friends upon our arrival, and attended to every detail until our departure. Airport transfers ✅, local drivers ✅, rental car ✅ (and it arrived about 15 minutes after requesting!), restaurant recommendations✅, next door winery tasting reserved ✅. When we first arrived we thought we might not be close enough to the main sites (Fira and Oia), but it turned out to be the perfect location. Close enough, but also far enough to be out of the crushing crowds in those villages. Plus it’s centrally located to visit the other end of the island—Akrotiri —with its interesting preserved village destroyed by volcano in 1650 BC, and the quaint fishing village nearby.

Very good stay from June 1 to 6, just before the high season so the island was still generally calm. The "villa" is attached to the other two of the complex. The complex is new with local architecture, the cleanliness is perfect and the "villa" is magnificent both inside and outside. Towels and care products are provided in the room (Nuxe), a bottle of water is offered every day because tap water is not drinkable. Prior to our arrival, Christos was able to respond to my requests without delay and everything was well organized. On site we were welcomed by Evelyn. Very enthusiastic, very smiling and very efficient. She is perfect. We can easily chat by WhatsApp for any request, she was able to meet our needs very quickly. The villas are located 10 minutes walk from a very pretty village (Megalochori) which is very convenient for lunch or dinner. There is no kitchen in the villas. For breakfast it can be ordered (extra) with Evelyn) For the return airport transfer we called on Christos (60€ A/R is not cheap) because we had a flight to 3am we didn't want to miss it. Same for renting the car a fiat 500 cabriolet for 4 days (70/days) The private swimming pool is perfect for cooling off, however you shouldn't be chilly. We have a doubt that it is heated. The big black point is that the villas are on the side of the main road which generates continuous car noise, without interruption whatever the time of day (night included). We are perhaps more sensitive than some people to noise, but we still bought earplugs to be able to sleep peacefully. Same problem to enjoy the terrace and the swimming pool, you have this continuous noise which ruins your life (and we were not in high season) To sum up the villa is spacious clean and new, Christos and Evelyn are available and very responsive . On the other hand for this price it is clearly not acceptable to be on the side of the main road and to have so much noise.
