Hotel Olympia

It's ok as a gift for a friend.

This hotelier has fraudulent practices and I wanted to inform travelers intending to book on their site. In fact, the Olympia hotel sends you a summary with confirmation and the following message "The total price of the reservation will be charged after the booking". No amount having been debited from my account, I consulted my mailbox and realized that I had to click on a payment link but this famous link had expired. The hotelier never responded to my various messages informing him of the problem. I therefore decided to make another reservation on Booking (more reliable) with in return a non-personalized message with service proposals. The evening of check-in at Karterados, the manager pretended to acquiesce, in very basic English but did not forget to ask us for cash for breakfast. The room was OK but the hotel was deserted at the beginning of October. The breakfast the next day was very frugal and the surroundings of the establishment were not great. A month after our return home, I noticed that the amount for the room had been charged a second time by Olympia with tourist tax added! I immediately contacted the hotelier again but to date, still no response. We really regretted our choice by making 1 stop in this village which has no interest. So, to avoid unpleasant surprises, avoid booking on their website!
