Of course, arriving late at night, finding this beautiful location easily and comfortably, and waking up in the morning with the sun, opening the door, appreciating the structure and having such a panorama in front of you, is already an excellent start. It may not be the caldera view, but the external side also has its reasons. Defining it as a "room" is an understatement, the standard rooms are real mini-apartments with private space facing the sea but also on the internal driveway, with the living area, minibar, wardrobe and bathroom on the ground floor and the bed on a mezzanine, very very clean, cute in pure Cycladic style. Nataly and her father were very present but equally discreet, courteous and attentive in welcoming us on the morning of arrival (and every following morning), asking us what we wanted for breakfast. Excellent and plentiful. I had specified in the days prior to arrival that my better half is gluten intolerant, they had the situation explained better in person and from the following day they received a lot of attention and a broad proposal on this too. Thank you! For the rest, also reading the previous reviews, I agree with the observation that the location requires a means of getting around (but this applies in general to the whole island, in my opinion). We had rented a car and we consider them a winning choice because the location on the island allows you to get anywhere in a very short time. We will definitely return to this fantastic island, and we will probably do it here again.

The hotel is far from everything. If you don't have a car, I don't advise it. For example, it's a long walk to Fira. 1 hour and a half. There are no shade trees. When we made the reservation, it included a coffee machine and an electric kettle. When we got there, there was an electric kettle and instant coffee. Breakfast very weak, cold coffee impossible to drink. We only had a bowl of fruit once. Our room was on the top floor, going to the bathroom at night was horrible. I don’t even recommend it for the elderly and children. Friendly staff, good pool. There are no restaurants nearby.
