The hotel is in a good location, next to the cliff, and you can see the sea from the balcony lounge chair

We celebrated our 9th anniversary with our very first parents-only getaway, and Astra Suites was pure magic. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was beyond anything we’ve experienced — we were personally welcomed by George Karayiannis, the General Manager, which set the tone for an unforgettable stay. To our surprise, we were upgraded to a Superior Suite with a jetted tub. The suite was spacious, cave-style, and beautifully designed, with breathtaking views of Skaros Rock, the caldera, and the Aegean Sea. Waking up to that panorama and enjoying à la carte breakfast on our terrace (the pistachio pancakes were unforgettable!) was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The infinity pool and pool bar were perfect for relaxing under the sun — special thanks to Nikos for the amazing drinks and surprise lunch while waiting for our room to be ready. Our sunset dinner at Five Senses was another highlight — romantic, delicious, and best enjoyed at a first-row sunset table (book early!). Above all, it was the team that made Astra Suites so memorable: Mayra and Maxim at the Front Desk were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel cared for every step of the way. Every detail and every interaction reflected genuine warmth. We only wish we had stayed longer than 2 nights. Astra Suites is truly a dream destination, and thanks to the wonderful staff, it’s now one of our most special memories. We can’t wait to return!

Our stay at Astra Suites was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed at the breath-taking vantage point the hotel has of the caldera. Not only was the hotel beautiful and perfectly located, the staff made our experience even better. George and his team were all so helpful and friendly during our stay. They give you the WhatsApp when you arrive and respond almost immediately to any inquiry or request. We were taken directly to our villa and given a tour of the property by George. He spent time to provide recommendations of dining and activities which were all spot on. Also he explained all the features of the villa we were staying in. We had a wonderful fruit platter and bottle of wine waiting for us. Our villa had an amazing patio with an infinity pool that provided breathtaking views of the caldera both during the day and especially during the sunsets. We could have just spent all day out there admiring the view and lounging in the pool. Alexandra helped keep our room spotless and brought us one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. You can order whatever you want from an extensive menu. It was brought to your patio at whatever time you preferred. Our favorites were the omelettes, pancakes, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice. We enjoyed lunch and a dinner at the hotel and both were excellent. The pool bar is great to visit as well with refreshing cocktails and great views of the caldera. We greatly enjoyed our time and found this hotel to be the best of all our stops in Greece. We will definitely be back.
