This is a great hotel for a short stay in São Paulo. However, checking in took way too long (over 15minutes). The reason for this is that the receptionist, Josinilson, subscribed us to their loyalty program without informing us upfront. He kept asking personal questions that were, according to him, necessary for confirmation of the reservation. After a long day, we just wanted to sleep. When we jokingly asked why he needed all that information for, he got sarcastically aggressive saying “because for my work”. The other receptionists were clearly shocked too. The hotel is great, room is more than okay and beds are comfortable. But the check in experience is in need of some improvement.

The location is very good. It takes 15-30 minutes to most sightseeing spots. The room was clean, but it was a bit small. Staff was amicable and polite. Because it’s not as close to Avenida Paulista, it is much quieter than other hotels.
There’s a drugstore about 5 minutes from the hotel and Le Pain Quotidien is 7-minute walk (if you’re looking for a place to have brunch).

This was a bad experience. The exhaust fan in the hotel could not be turned off. Even with the bathroom door closed in the middle of the night, it was still a bit noisy. I asked the hotel and they said they would go up and check it out right away. It had been five days and no one had gone up to check it out.

I have a serious complaint to make. When I made the reservation, according to the receipt in hand, the price of breakfast was listed as R$27.00 per person. However, the amount actually charged was R$49.00 per person. I complained to the hotel, but they told me that the amount charged was correct and that there was nothing they could do and that I should complain to Trip, since the reservation was made with that company.
