The hotel in the old town of Sao Paulo, Brazil, is in a good location. It's not far from the cathedral and the opera house, and you can walk there. The security situation in Sao Paulo is a bit worrying, and the streets are full of homeless people.

The hotel is super centrally located. There are restaurants on almost every corner, as well as supermarkets. The hotel staff were all super nice to us and to the other guests. Unfortunately, due to the construction, it was quite noisy and it was difficult to sleep. (See picture - there were gaps around the air conditioning where you could look outside) The air conditioning barely managed to cool the room :( The bathroom could do with being renovated and the Towels were super washed out and therefore thin.You could see that.The lobby and breakfast area was renovated, which already looked good!Maybe it will continue...

Very good hotel, super comfortable and with several security guards at the door, something that in the center of São Paulo ends up being important. Excellent breakfast. It could just improve the air conditioning issue but I don't mind as the city's climate is super pleasant. Another thing is the bathtub, the drain had no cover which made it impossible to use.
