Location of this hotel is excellent, right in front of a large beach. All rooms have balconies looking out over the beach and ocean. Rooms are large but somewhat outdated. Bathroom was small. There is a small kitchenette area with a fridge and cooking plate. Beds are comfortable but bathroom towels were thin and frayed. Breakfast choices were limited and lacked fresh juices and fruit. This is a 3 star hotel at best.

Just spent 4 nights at this hotel and it's fabulous. Right on the beach with the sound of the waves to lull you to sleep. Clean, comfortable and with everything you need. The staff are really friendly and helpful and go the extra mile to help you enjoy your stay. It's just 40 minutes flat walk along the seafront to Ponta Delgada and the same in the other direction to Lagoa. Taxis can be arranged by staff. Breakfast is simple but there's plenty of it. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Essential but quiet and clean hotel. Great view, facing the ocean, very nice position and good service. WiFi working fairly well. Breakfast ok. Maybe it could vary a little more but good quality. Recommended for groups of friends. Very kind receptionists.

Loved the room , the view, and the friendly staff. These rented apartments include breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise. Rooms have a wonderful sea view. I enjoyed quite a big balcony and great beds. The room was impeccably clean - I would highly recommend a stay there.

You would not believe the view from my room! This hotel is right on the beach. During my downtime I loved sitting on the balcony reading a book, drinking my coffee and listening to the waves of the ocean right in front of me. The staff are very good people, very respectable, super nice and would help you with anything you need. Rooms are very clean.

It's inexpensive and right on the ocean with a beautiful view. There's free parking. The room is clean and huge. Has a kitchen. The negatives are there is no AC and the bed was not very comfortable.

This hotel is a wonderful little gem! It’s spotless and the staff are wonderful. View from the balcony cannot be beat. Also, kitchen helps a great deal with food and snacks. The only issue we had was that the beds are a little too firm. Absolutely wonderful experience.

As many before said, the hotel is a bit old. The room had older furniture but all functioning. The bathroom was small and compact, but it was ok. The kitchenet was great, clean and had all the things we needed. There was also a refrigerator which was very useful. The lighting in the room needs improvements because there wasn’t any ‘central’ ceiling light, just the lights on the nightstands so it was a little bit dark. The room was clean and was also cleaned every single day so that was very nice. The best thing in the room was the view from the terrace which was the reason that we booked the hotel. It was even better than I was expecting. There was a glass railing in the terrace so you had even nicer view. Please note that all the rooms are facing the sea so it can get a little bit noisy, but for us it was fine. We spent 7 nights in the hotel. The staff was so nice, helpful, and always in a good mood. The breakfast was average and really needed some diversity because it was practically the same every day. Overall, it was a nice stay, and we would come back again.
