I was really satisfied with my first night in Japan. It was 500 per night. It's a bit of a distance from the subway station. Breakfast was booked on-site for 110 per person, which was cheaper than booking through Ctrip. The room was spacious and clean, and the surroundings were very quiet. It was a Japanese-style buffet breakfast. The grilled scallops were really delicious; I ate several! The lychees, however, were black and not appealing at all. It seems the high price of fruit in Japan is true. It's a pity I didn't know how to use the complimentary Hokkaido Enjoy Pass.

Facilities:
Though small, it's fully equipped. There's a TV and a mini-fridge, the heating is very warm, and the window can be opened a crack.
Environment:
Smoking rooms do have a noticeable smell of smoke; it's best to book a non-smoking room if possible. You can see the colorful Ferris wheel right outside the window. The location is excellent, with many one-day tour groups departing right from downstairs.
Service:
The room can be cleaned daily; just place the sticker on the outside of the door. The cleaning was very thorough. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Hokkaido. Very satisfied.
