Stayed a couple of night in mid Oct 24. Didn't have a reservation but just walked into the hotel (after studying one of the well know hotel booking sites). They showed us a room. Was a bit more than the price we were thinking but it turns out it was a family room (basically 2 bedrooms (and 2 small balcony's) and a bathroom. My friend and I were happy with it so we took it. Clean. Functional. Nice bathroom (great shower). Coffee (those pods) on tap (we asked for 4 more pods and they delivered them to the room a short time later). Think water was a cost option from the mini bar though (not 100% sure now). Front balcony looked out to the sea (partially blocked by another hotel on the sea front) but in mid Oct, you can see the sun set into the sea. Lovely. Hotel seemed almost empty as we hardly saw any other guests. Pool nice (but cold). Staff were mostly very friendly and at breakfast each day, they made us a nice omelette, selection of cheeses, some meat, bread, fruit etc. Orange juice and a coffee/latte etc (basically like a set menu but we had no complaints). Nice location (first time in Serande and was quite impressed). Just a short walk away from the centre of town (and literally only a few mins walk to the promenade). Recommended.

I travel a lot snd stayed in many hotels all over Europe, but this hotel really really impressed me. The room was sooo clean and smartly designed. The bed so comfortable and clean. The sea view from our balcony was stunning. Bathroom spotless and beautiful. The hospitality at this hotel was second to none. They really deserve 5 stars. Well done to all here and especially to the owners who are truly down to earth hard working people and give their all to everyone who come through their doors. A great feeling and even better experience! Thank you guys for making our stay in Saranda even more special!

The hotel is in a good location with beautiful views of the bay and boasts high standards in terms of its facilities. However, the staff’s attitude falls short of what you would expect from a 4-star hotel. One receptionist, in particular, was not very friendly or helpful, making it seem as if any question was an inconvenience. Upon our arrival shortly before 3 p.m., our room was not ready, even though check-in starts at 1 p.m. Additionally, our room was located next to the laundry area, and from early in the morning, staff would leave the door open, speaking loudly to each other, with no consideration for guests trying to rest—especially those on holiday who might want to sleep after 7 am. Another frustration was the hotel’s unreliable Wi-Fi. Despite having several networks to connect to, the service was constantly down. While disconnecting can be a positive on holiday, if you're coming from the EU and don’t have roaming, it becomes quite frustrating. While the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, the service left much to be desired. The morning waiter struggled to communicate and seemed irritated whenever we asked for coffee, which, although included in breakfast, had to be requested since there was no self-service coffee machine. It often took him a long time to bring the coffee, and on multiple occasions, he got the order wrong (e.g., bringing a single espresso when we asked for a double). The limited breakfast hours (just 2 hours) also made it difficult if you planned an early excursion, as many tours start around 8:30 a.m. Overall, despite the hotel’s attractive appearance and great outdoor pool area, the unfriendly staff spoiled our experience making our holidays feel more frustrating than pleasant. If you're looking for a relaxing and stress-free holiday, this may not be the best option, as the staff's lack of care can be annoying.

It is a nice, high standard hotel with excellent breakfast. Unfortunately rude staff working there completely spoilt our stay. When we arrived we had to wait for our room, although we were there within the check-in hours. One the next day we decided to go on an early bus tour, which was colliding a bit with our breakfast times (the time slot is very short 8-10am). We asked the receptionist if it would be possible to come and eat 15 min earlier. Some other staff members appeared shortly and they started shouting in Albanian to each other. I believe they were discussing our “unusual” request. After a few minutes the receptionist turned around and said: “no, it’s from 8”. The next morning we decided to try our luck and we came to the dinning area 15 min earlier. Although the food was ready and there were no other guests there, the receptionist asked us to leave, showing with her fingers number 8. It was a very grotesque and unpleasant experience. The general atmosphere there made us feel like we were intruders. Whenever we approached the receptionist who was talking and smiling with her colleagues, the moment she saw one, her smile was disappearing and she was limiting her answers to 1-2 words. Every morning during breakfast you could see two older ladies sitting at one of the tables, who were clearly owners or managers. You didn’t need much time to realise that they are controlling the bustling around staff. Whenever we asked the waiter for a coffee, he ostensively was taking his time walking around and doing other non-urgent things. The coffee was always served with a delay an not a single word! Additionally, we were put in a room next to a laundry facility. The staff working there was were loud and they were waking us a up every morning before 7am! I honestly don’t believe in authenticity of any of the reviews here mentioning polite and friendly staff. We were there for 3 nights and we experienced only rudeness and a very tense atmosphere.

Good location, clean. Good restaurant onsite for lunch and dinner with friendly waiting staff and good value. The family room comprising two rooms adjoining was perfect for our family and the pool is nice. Some negatives; Music across the road in the nightclub by the water is ridiculously loud until 12 AM. Not the hotels fault admittedly but kept us and the children awake every evening. One girl on reception wasn't very friendly/helpful at all and acted like any question was an inconvenience. For example, booking a taxi for us and me advising her we had a rental car parked in the underground car park seemed difficult for her to manage (she usually worked in the evenings, the girl in the morning was quite friendly and helpful). The lift is tiny and badly made in that closes on you in about 5 seconds when trying to get the family/stroller/suitcases into it. We usually had to take one child up the stairs and send the other in the lift. Breakfast was sparse, poor selection. Beds are too soft, difficult to lie on without rolling into the middle. Room was not ready when we arrived at 14:00 even though it says check in at 13:00. Also found an empty contact lenses box at the side of the bed, so room had not been cleaned properly. One day there were people using the underground car park to pack counterfeit shoes into shoeboxes as we arrived home, not sure if the hotel was aware of this though.
