Our two night stay (next to the room where Sir David Attenborough stayed) was delightful. We could have spent days walking on the different trails through the rainforest. Discovering the wild life during the day and during a 2h night walk with a fantastic guide (with eagle eyes) was just perfect. The people working hard at the restaurant were perfect too. This place is a must when travelling in Costa Rica.

We were booked here for one night at short notice & luckily they were able to accommodate us (3 rooms). The rooms are very basic, ensuite, A/C, coffee maker, but no fridge (which would have been helpful, but the staff allowed us to store some things in the fridge behind reception, which was appreciated). We were greeted by the par park attendant pointing out a 3 toed sloth, on our arrival, which was good! The grounds are really lovely, with a suspension bridge to a couple of trails (we didn't do them, but enjoyed walking the bridge, spotting birds along the way). We had dinner in the restaurant & it was an excellent meal but breakfast was pretty average. The staff were all extremely welcoming & helpful. Would stay again.

Avions réservé la visite guidée de 15h a 17h pour observer les oiseaux. Indispensable pour observer des animaux. Impossible tout seul de les repérer. Grâce a Luis nous avons pu observer près de 30 espèces d'oiseaux en 2h (motmot, toucan, ...) Et un paresseux, un iguane, ...

Visite uniquement du parc. Entre 2 ou 2h pour faire tous les chemin dans la forêt vierge. On traverse tout d'abord un grand pont suspendu, puis on part dans la forêt. Avoir de bonnes chaussures car assez boueux. Superbe végétation. Parc à découvrir.

Nous avons adoré notre visite au Tirimbina! Notre guide Walter était parfait! Il connaît bien le parc et répondait parfaitement à nos nombreuses questions! On ressent dès le début le respect des gens qui y travaillent pour la nature. La forêt est splendide! Juste y marcher est un privilège incroyable! Les animaux se cachent bien et il ne faut pas s’attendre à en voir par centaine, c’est la nature et ceux-ci sont rarement actifs en pleine journée. Nous avons quand même été chanceux et pu voir des paresseux, des toucans, grenouilles, plusieurs iguanes et lézards. Nous avons manger au restaurant après notre visite et avons apprécié le service et les plats choisis (sandwichs et burgers) très bons et à un prix très abordable.

Visite du parc (avec guide) et pont suspendu plutôt sympas, mais hébergement vraiment très moyen. Chambres spartiates (pourquoi pas) mais sans aucun charme et surtout tout près de la route et des camions alors que l'on vient pour se retrouver au milieu de la nature...De plus erreurs de facturation à répétition !
