Wanted an affordable place near the airport. My experience was fine but could have been worse. Checking in the nice woman at the front desk was dealing with a badly leaking roof and a special needs (disgruntled crazy guest). She certainly passed the audition for any job because she juggled her tasks perfectly. The room was clean, quiet and lots of space. That's all I expected and that's what I got.

Our stay at this hotel in sarasota was excellent. the room was clean and comfortable with all essential well taken care of. the location was convenient, close to siesta key beach & interstate I-75. the staff was friendly and helpful through out our stay. overall it was great value for the price. check inn kiosk was very great and new experience, and i would definitely stay here again.

A room with a lovely view. Quite a walking distance to restaurants and everything but average hotel restaurant for late dinner. Very spacious room and toilet or breakfast. They have to send serviceman twice to fix the heat/room control. Sliding door to balcony was heavy to open and close. The deal was average I would say.

I am writing this review to defend this wonderful hotel. I go there every year for my birthday which is on the first week of September. I go after LaborDay. The hotel is a wonderful bargain. It is at least $100 a night less than most of the other hotels. It is NOT a showcase hotel nor does it claim to be. If you want modern decor, large restaurants and fancy rooms this is not the place for you. If you want a hotel with real character and charm and fabulous service this is your place. We ate one night at the bar and one breakfast at the restaurant. (only bar is opened for dinner) Both times the food was delicious and ample. Our room was clean but the furniture was dated. If this is a problem, you are spending too much time in the room. Pillows were comfortable. TV and air conditioner both worked. We had hot and cold water. Each day you are given complimentary water. The staff was more than accommodating. Garage parking is available and part of the service fee. Some people said there was a smell. There is a slight smell all over the island. The beach is right in front of the bar. Towels and chaises are also part of the service fee. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who recognizes a great dollar value. It is quaint and relaxing and makes you feel like you have gone back in time.

Staff very friendly with the exception of this lady named Denise. She is the only one whomis ride for no reason. I feel that she she not be in the customer service industry. When she is there by herself she is harming your name/brand. She doesn't even know how the Wyndham rewards work. I am a diamond mem ber and get a free upgrade to a suite when I asked her About it she got an attitude with me and told me I didn't know what I was talking about so I even showed her where it says it on the Wyndham app. Other than that all the staff is great John the G.M is probably one of the best managers I have seen at a hotel. It is a great location being just a few minutes from downtown.

We booked to stay on our wedding night but were slightly underwhelmed this wasn’t even acknowledged. The hotel was clean on the whole with a quick check-in. The rooms were a decent size. Thankfully we brought toiletries with us as the bathroom amenities were empty.

The location is very nice and the staffs are very friendly and accommodating! Only the hallway in our floor were sprayed out with disinfectant smelly. But all overview, we are very satisfied with this booking. We really enjoyed this weekend.

The lady at the front desk when we arrived was so sweet and welcoming. We had an issue with our rooms air conditioner and she made a room change possible even though they were sold out. It took her all off five mins to solve the problem for us. She was fantastic what great customer service !
