Loved the fact it was right on the Camino and in a really good location. There were lots of eating options nearby and it is a lovely street. Check in was super quick and easy by our pleasant host. The room was excellent. Nice bathroom, and good towels (very important) and we had a really nice sunroom with great views of the surrounding hills. Was I,pressed to find a kettle and tea making facilities in our room, we LOVE this but sadly it has only happened twice in 36 days in Spain. So our room was great but my only negative would be the bed. It was really small and I’m not tall, however my feet hung off the end of the bed. I think this place deserves five stars if they had better beds.

This is a little gem of a hotel. Beautiful building and so clean and comfortable. Easy and quick check in and a friendly welcome. It is within walking distance of all amenities and it is very easy to access the Camino from the hotel. I would highly recommend it.

The room was very cute and quaint, very clean and comfortable mattress and pillow. The host was a very sweet, darling man that went out of his way to make dinner reservations for us. He gave us a map and answered any of our questions. This place is located in an old villa that en route to the next part of the Camino.

I’ve been travelling Spain and staying in different places for 40 nights and this has been my favourite. Everything about this place is pure class, from the beds to the soap. And despite being right on the camino my room at the back was totally silent. The accommodation is perfect but the warmth and kindness of the hosts was what that made my stay truly special. They went out of their way to help me on multiple occasions. I will never forget them.

I liked it here. My room was clean & comfortable and it was great to have the use of a lounge too downstairs. My stay included breakfast and the business that I took the voucher to was really close by and offered a good breakfast. Friendly welcoming owners and you are in the camino!

Unfortunately, I didn’t stay at Casa Baran. I found a gem of a place a couple of houses away from C Baran. Casa Solance should be on your list of properties. Beautiful place and accommodations were spot on. I loved the restraint of decor and the helpfulness of the owners—breakfast was outstanding! Made me feel right at home.

Very nice owner, very big room with a nice view out over part of the town. A minus is that the property does not have a lift and at the end of a long walk. Breakfast, which is very nice, is provided by way of a voucher and a visit to a nearby cafe.

Excellent location, in the heart of old Sarria. Our room was quite large and very, very clean. Comfortable bed, and we had a beautiful view of the city street below. Breakfast was a simple one but very filling, located at a restaurant a few short steps away.
