Wickwood Inn

Wonderful stay. The inn is beautiful and chic while still comfortable. Impeccably clean room. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were lovely. We went for a couple’s getaway and really enjoyed the town. Great mix of places to grab drinks, food, and shop.

A first class facility with such kind and caring professionals. Easy walk or drive to all the wonderful shops and lovely sights. We enjoyed a lunch at Pumpernickels and a fun dance band at Wick Bar. The sunset cruise by Star of Saugatuck was great. Our inn offered a quiet relaxing place to meet new people. And our breakfasts and charcuterie/sweets were the best ever!

We originally stayed and reviewed in late 2022 and The Wickwood Inn continues to be a beautiful and well run inn. We have stayed at quite a few inns in Saugatuck and this is the most luxurious. Lovely grounds, clean rooms, thick towels, high thread count sheets and a well cooked breakfast make you feel welcomed. An important point to make is that they have free parking available for guests, which is a wonderful thing in this town. Do yourself a favor and book a room.

We had a lovely three night stay at the Wickwood Inn and were honestly sad to leave. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable but the best part of the Inn was the staff. From the tour at check in to the delicious breakfasts served every morning in the garden, they made us feel welcome and at home. We booked another trip for fall before we left. Every room in the Inn has been remodeled and each design detail is impeccable. The Inn also provides an app with recommendations for restaurants and activities in Saugatuck which is so helpful. We climbed the steps to Mount Baldhead for the most stunning view!

My wife and I had a quick getaway before Christmas and chose to stay at the Wickwood Inn. We were not disappointed in any way with our stay here. The host gave us a thorough walk-thru of the property when we arrived, the lounge spaces were quiet and comfortable, the rooms were well appointed and the service / breakfast was amazing. We will def. not hesitate to come back here.

The Wickwood Inn is a beautiful and welcoming place to stay in Saugatuck. Susan was friendly, informative and a lot of fun. We had a great conversation about the local artist scene.Cole was very attentive and professional. Since we don't drink wine he made us a carafe of coffee for every happy hour. The munchies at happy hour are both savory and sweet with a homemade bread or tart available. I really looked forward to the social hour. Not only for the food but also for the conversation. The breakfast was creative, varied and delicious. The dining room is great place to start the day with all the light and warm woods. Our suite had a fireplace and a soaker tub which was great after a day of exploring. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were crisp and of an excellent quality. The location is perfect. It is within walking distance of downtown and up the street from the Chain Ferry which takes you across the Kalamazoo river to dunes and oval beach. We have stayed at many inns and hotels in the Saugatuck/Douglas area. The Wickwood Inn is where we will stay from now on. The whole Inn felt like home.
